Bardo has been created by students studying at the School of Media, Design and Technology at the University of Bradford. The film has been created as part of the Experimental Filmmaking module. This short film is about a young 19-year-old man who wakes up in space. His surreal surrounding confuses him, but he decides to explore the space wasteland. After meeting a young 19-year-old woman they somehow fall out of space and end up on the grounds of a burned down church. From here they watch some classic television; Cow and Chicken, an animation which has a terrible impact on the young man, devastated by watching ‘people’ fighting on the television. The young woman disappears for something quite strange to then happen to the young male when he leads through a doorway to return to space…
