Replacement batteries can be found HERE: http://bit.ly/2dr6wy3 Awesome Smart Phone Tool Kit: http://amzn.to/1XdJPuA Green Pry tool: http://amzn.to/1Tu57pI Let me know if the links stop working! IF YOUR BATTERY IS STUCK IN THE PHONE. YOU CAN HEAT IT UP FROM THE BACK WITH A HAIR DRYER TO HELP LOOSEN UP THE GLUE. READ THE COMMENTS IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS! MANY PEOPLE FIND THIS PROJECT TO BE VERY DIFFICULT! ATTEMPT THIS PROJECT AT YOUR OWN RISK. If your battery dies quickly or if the charge doesn't last very long in your iPhone, you can very easily replace it yourself. There are only 4 screws you need to remove. If you have any questions be sure to ask them in the comments. READ THIS: I should have mentioned that it is more difficult to remove the battery than I show in the video. I had done it once before I started recording, so the glue holding the battery in has already been unstuck one time. That first time is a doozy. You gotta pull, and pry.... I used that long red plastic tool to get the battery unstuck as the pull tab would probably have broken. Make sure to 'Like' if this video helped you. I like knowing! And if you feel so inclined, it would be awesome if you subscribed for my future projects. Battle of the Sapphires - HTC U Ultra - Is it REALLY Sapphire?

06:38
HTC released the Sapphire Edition of the U Ultra, and it is time for a scratch test with JerryRigEverything's Moh's Hardness Picks. One of the quickest ways to differentiate between glass or sapphire is with a hardness test. This video will also test the Zagg Invisible shield Sapphire Defense screen protector for the Galaxy S8. It advertises that it contains 'sapphire crystals' infused into the 'hybrid glass'... Is that a bunch of corporate speak for 'crappy screen protector'? Lets find out. Tissot also makes a sapphire watch. I used it during my iPhone camera lens testing. What makes the Galaxy S7 Waterproof? - Ultimate Test

03:27
How is the Samsung Galaxy S7 Water Resistant? What keeps the internal components dry? In this video, I show how each component of the Galaxy S7 can stay dry when submerged under water. The charging port, the headphone jack, the power button, all possible entries of water into this phone are protected. Smart Phone tool kit: http://amzn.to/1Y0U7iR Even thought the phone is 'water resistant' it would not be wise to always trust that it will stay that way. Even a small drop of your device, or a bend in the frame will dislodge a component enough to ruin the iP68 rating. A dry phone is better than a broken phone any day. Better safe than sorry! Here is a cool explanation of the iP 68 rating means, that Samsung achieved with this phone.: http://bit.ly/1p9CMrL The camera I used to film this video: http://amzn.to/1IjlaCD The Lens I used for this video: http://amzn.to/1QOXDw2 And this Metabones adapter: http://amzn.to/1R7Ltic *Follow me for updates!* Instagram: http://instagram.com/zacksjerryrig FaceBook: http://on.fb.me/1U4bQqv Twitter: https://twitter.com/ZacksJerryRig GooglePlus: https://bit.ly/1YyKice I am not affiliated with Samsung, or Apple, or anything. Watch as I show the teardown of my new iPhone X in 5 minutes. Replacing the screen of an iPhone X is a bit more simple than previous iPhones. There is less hardware to transfer over from the broken screen to the new screen. Apple has made things a bit easier with the removal of that fingerprint scanner. The iPhone X battery replacement is also relatively easy with its magical pull tabs holding it down. It is one of the most uniquely shaped batteries that ive ever seen! OnePlus 5T Teardown! - Hidden water resistance?

The OnePlus 5T is up for a teardown. Watch in this video as I open up the newest OnePlus 5T and show how the screen and battery can be removed and replaced. Whether you just like seeing tech from the inside, or you actually have something to fix on your own phone, this is a good video to watch. I will remove the screen from the OnePlus 5t first, followed by the battery and the cameras. The Cameras on the OnePlus 5T do not have OIS unfortunately... but we still get a close up look at the way those are assembled. As always let me know if you have any questions. And leave any tips for people attempting this repair - if you have already attempted it yourself. Totally CLEAR Galaxy S8 - Worlds FIRST!!

DO NOT ATTEMPT UNTIL YOU WATCH THIS: https://youtu.be/Bavh96FXjTs There is one VITAL step involving the wireless charging that is necessary for your phone to charge. HTC 10 Bend Test - Scratch Test - Burn Test - Durability video

04:11
Buying a smartphone is a big decision! Durability is one of the factors is taken into consideration. The New HTC 10 is just released. And its time to be tested. Extreme tests like scratching, bending, and even burning the display are important to get an idea for how well the phone will stand up to the test of time. Most phones are 'supposed' to last about 2 years... A lot can happen in 2 years. People will sit on their phone, step on their phone, accidentally scratch their phone. My durability tests will give you an idea for how well the HTC 10 will stand up to regular use. I always recommend getting a case and a screen protector... but its still interesting to see how the naked phone will handle life. How durable is the HTC 10? After scratching the screen, and attempting to bend the phone... you'll have a good idea for how much the phone will be able to handle. Apple Airpods vs Apple Lightning Headphones

03:25
The Apple AirPods and the Apple Lightning headphones that are included with every new iPhone 7 look very similar. Obviously one is wireless, and one has a cord (although with no headphone jack attached) But which one has the better internal speaker? Its time to find out! Its interesting to see the differences in cone design and material. As well as the internal magnet size and copper coil dimensions. Does the BlackBerry KeyOne screen STILL FALL OFF?? - Round 2

04:19
About 2 months ago I did a durability test on the new BlackBerry KeyOne, that didnt go too well. I bought my NEW KeyOne HERE: http://amzn.to/2vGVaPr The display popped off of the old Blackberry Keyone smartphone. Most people would consider the display falling off the phone a bad thing. And I would agree. Blackberry was quick to come to the rescue with promises of better adhesive, and replacements to customers who were effected... so its time to test the NEW Blackberry I purchased yesterday. Previous KeyOne Durability test fail: https://youtu.be/mavrdYZPg0Q BUT... did they actually fix anything? or were their statements full of corporate damage control and cover up? There is only one way to find out. I purchased another BlackBerry Key one yesterday, and its time to open it up. If Blackberry Does fix the KeyOne display issues... would you buy one? What makes the iPhone 7 WaterProof? - Ultimate Test!!

04:49
Apples iPhone 7 claims to be iP67 'water resistant'. What does that mean? Can you go swimming with your phone? Will your phone be ok if it slips into the sink? or tumbles into the toilet? This video will answer all of those questions and more. I explain the differences between iP67, iP68, and IP69. And how much liquid abuse they can actually handle. The iPhone 7 has the bare minimum of water protection. I would suggest that you treat it like a normal phone, and that the iP67 protection is a bonus feature... not something you ever rely on. ESPECIALLY if you use your phone daily, and you keep important things on it. Here is the Samsung Note 7 WaterProof Test: https://youtu.be/ZiksU8Afr-4 Do you trust Apples 'Water Proofing' features? NEW Nokia 3310 Durability Test - 2017 Edition

04:40
The Nokia 3310 was released AGAIN this year - 2017. A throwback to one of the most popular and durable phones of all time. Its only natural that it ends up on my durability testing table. Copy imitation phones are all over the internet. So BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN PURCHASING!! Your best bet is just the official Nokia Website: https://www.nokia.com/en_int/phones/nokia-3310 and not eBay. In my previous Vivo X20 Plus UD video we did a durability test on the Under glass fingerprint scanner from Synaptics. In this video we will teardown the In-glass fingerprint scanner to see how it works, and what the sensor inside really looks like. PLUS we get to set the sensor side by side with the main camera sensor from an LG V30 to see the color differences. Pretty awesome technology and the only place to see it first hand *From the INSIDE* is here on Jerry Rig Everything. Leave a comment if you need something specific. I respond regularly. Want to see the guts of the brand new OnePlus 3 android smartphone? Lets open it up. This phone is surprisingly easy to open. There is no glue, so you wont need a heat gun. Just a screwdriver with a small Philips head and a T2 head. Once the One Plus 3 is opened up, almost everything inside can be replaced. The phone is pretty modular. The USB C charging port can be swapped out, along with the black battery (Its not red :-( sad day.) The 16mp rear camera and the 8mp front camera can be replaced as well. The SIM card tray can not be replaced. That is soldered onto the main board. Most Durable Smartphone of 2016 - Year End Summary Awards

05:25
2016 is over. And its time to evaluate all of the phones I have tested on my channel during this year. It was a tough choice trying to pick the strongest smartphone of 2016. There were so many good phones this year. The weakest was pretty easy. ↓↓↓↓↓↓ CLICK TO SEE MORE ↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓ And there were a few failures of smartphones to add to the mix as well. 2016 was a very interesting year, and I have High Hopes for 2017! Having a durable cell phone is important for the people who keep their phones longer than a year or two. Its important to get a phone that will last the test of time. ALSO its very important to always use a case and a screen protector on your device. I never recommend using your phone without protection. You might have noticed that I didn't say much about the Galaxy S7 Active. This was intentional as I do not think the S7 Active should be winning any awards. 1) It is exclusive to AT&T, which makes it hard to obtain. AND its 'shatter resistant' screen is just glass covered in plastic. So, im sure its a good phone. But I don't think its a contender for this particular video. --------------------------------------------------------- AWARDS: Most Durable: HTC 10 Honorable Mention: OnePlus 3 Least Durable: NextBit Robin Most Repairable: Google Pixel Honorable Mention: LG V20 Least Repairable: HTC 10 Most Innovative: Xiaomi Mi Mix Lease Innovative: iPhone 7 LG G5: Advertising Fail Note 7: A series of unfortunate events. ------------------------------------------------------------- HTC 10 Durability Video: https://youtu.be/cQ62ixgzhrI HTC 10 Teardown: https://youtu.be/T5uLJJnEHMk Nextbit Robin Durability Test: https://youtu.be/EU6Tv-OfXk0 Google Pixel Durability video: https://youtu.be/18nJ3hjUCTw Google PIxel Teardown: https://youtu.be/0tKNn_w3Yfk iPhone 7 Durability test: https://youtu.be/0vYfAqEyGV0 iPhone 7 Screen Repair: https://youtu.be/hIs6vLdHHKI Mi Mix Durability test: https://youtu.be/_CZj-l9MJmg Mi Mix Teardown: https://youtu.be/m5MkZC1uRZY LG G5 durability test: https://youtu.be/0GQ43cF5TuU LG G5 Teardown: https://youtu.be/SyP_cEpp2Zo Note 7 Durability test: https://youtu.be/571pu66vEBc Note 7 Teardown: https://youtu.be/x3Iz0SPy2Ic Note 7 Explosion video: https://youtu.be/_Cd2WIxKRDk LG V20 Durability video: https://youtu.be/nBlUL-7Dl4U LG V20 Teardown: https://youtu.be/KNgSDmkn96c One Plus 3 Durability test: https://youtu.be/8PZ8W_g6Vvk One Plus 3 Teardown: https://youtu.be/Hh_XgrcQ9oo Awesome Smart Phone Tool Kit: http://amzn.to/1XdJPuA Green Pry tool: http://amzn.to/1Tu57pI Phone opening metal tool: http://amzn.to/1WdOFv0 The camera I used to film this video: http://amzn.to/1IjlaCD The Lens I used for this video: http://amzn.to/1QOXDw2 And this Metabones adapter: http://amzn.to/1R7Ltic *Follow me for updates!* Instagram: http://instagram.com/zacksjerryrig Facebook: http://on.fb.me/1U4bQqv Twitter: https://twitter.com/ZacksJerryRig Snapchat: http://bit.ly/1UAb2Fq GooglePlus: https://bit.ly/1YyKice JerryRigEverything assumes no liability for property damage or injury incurred as a result of any of the information contained in this video.
