Battle of the Sapphires - HTC U Ultra - Is it REALLY Sapphire?

06:38
HTC released the Sapphire Edition of the U Ultra, and it is time for a scratch test with JerryRigEverything's Moh's Hardness Picks. One of the quickest ways to differentiate between glass or sapphire is with a hardness test. This video will also test the Zagg Invisible shield Sapphire Defense screen protector for the Galaxy S8. It advertises that it contains 'sapphire crystals' infused into the 'hybrid glass'... Is that a bunch of corporate speak for 'crappy screen protector'? Lets find out. Tissot also makes a sapphire watch. I used it during my iPhone camera lens testing. iPhone X Teardown! - Screen and Battery Replacement shown in 5 minutes

05:17
Watch as I show the teardown of my new iPhone X in 5 minutes. Replacing the screen of an iPhone X is a bit more simple than previous iPhones. There is less hardware to transfer over from the broken screen to the new screen. Apple has made things a bit easier with the removal of that fingerprint scanner. The iPhone X battery replacement is also relatively easy with its magical pull tabs holding it down. It is one of the most uniquely shaped batteries that ive ever seen! OnePlus 5T Teardown! - Hidden water resistance?

05:56
The OnePlus 5T is up for a teardown. Watch in this video as I open up the newest OnePlus 5T and show how the screen and battery can be removed and replaced. Whether you just like seeing tech from the inside, or you actually have something to fix on your own phone, this is a good video to watch. I will remove the screen from the OnePlus 5t first, followed by the battery and the cameras. The Cameras on the OnePlus 5T do not have OIS unfortunately... but we still get a close up look at the way those are assembled. As always let me know if you have any questions. Does the BlackBerry KeyOne screen STILL FALL OFF?? - Round 2

04:19
About 2 months ago I did a durability test on the new BlackBerry KeyOne, that didnt go too well. I bought my NEW KeyOne HERE: http://amzn.to/2vGVaPr The display popped off of the old Blackberry Keyone smartphone. Most people would consider the display falling off the phone a bad thing. And I would agree. Blackberry was quick to come to the rescue with promises of better adhesive, and replacements to customers who were effected... so its time to test the NEW Blackberry I purchased yesterday. Previous KeyOne Durability test fail: https://youtu.be/mavrdYZPg0Q BUT... did they actually fix anything? or were their statements full of corporate damage control and cover up? There is only one way to find out. I purchased another BlackBerry Key one yesterday, and its time to open it up. If Blackberry Does fix the KeyOne display issues... would you buy one? DO NOT ATTEMPT UNTIL YOU WATCH THIS: https://youtu.be/Bavh96FXjTs There is one VITAL step involving the wireless charging that is necessary for your phone to charge. If you remove your wireless charging the phone will function BUT the phone will not charge. The above video explains everything. Making a clear Galaxy S8 has been on my mind for a few days. Apple Airpods vs Apple Lightning Headphones

The Apple AirPods and the Apple Lightning headphones that are included with every new iPhone 7 look very similar. Obviously one is wireless, and one has a cord (although with no headphone jack attached) But which one has the better internal speaker? Its time to find out! Its interesting to see the differences in cone design and material. As well as the internal magnet size and copper coil dimensions. Note 8 Teardown - Screen Replacement, Battery swap

All Samsung Note 8 Replacement Parts: https://goo.gl/fLnrqf Lets teardown the Galaxy Note 8. This is the same phone that I did my durability test on, as well as turned the back glass clear. (Thats why the glass is clear at the end of the video). And now its time to see how hard it is to replace the screen on the Galaxy Note 8, as well as swap out the Note 8 battery in a few years when it starts to die. Smartphone batteries dont last forever. Luckily replacement parts for the Galaxy Note 8 arent that expensive (Well the screen is expensive) But Everything else isnt so bad, especially as the device gets older. What questions do you have about the Galaxy Note 8 teardown? Would you ever attempt a project like this on your own? This video shows how I replace the screen, the charging port, and the battery all inside the Galaxy Note 8. Pretty similar to the previous Samsung phones like the Galaxy s6, s7, and s8 series. Essential Phone Drop Test - TITANIUM and CERAMIC vs. GRAVITY!

06:44
I dont always do smart phone drop tests. But when I do, I test the interesting phones, like the Essential Phone made from titanium and Ceramic. If that doesnt sound like its from the future, I dont know what is. Essential says on their website that their phone does not need a case. Is that true? Can any smart phone survive life without a case? The Essential phone passed my durability test with flying colors: https://youtu.be/H9QxIvm7T90 BUT what will break first during a drop? The glass screen of the front? or the level 8 mohs ceramic back? The only way to find out is with a Drop Test from JerryRigEverything. OnePlus 5 Durability Test! Scratch - Burn - BEND Tested

The One Plus 5 was given to me by OnePlus to review. Like always - the abuse and opinions are my own. Here is the OnePlus 5 camera review on SuperSaf's channel: https://youtu.be/mXRh6zoDVX4 Is this 'flagship killer' Android device from OnePlus built well enough to stand the test of time? That is what we are here to find out today. I take the OnePlus 5 smartphone and put it through the durability tests that every new phone is subject to upon launch. The OnePlus 5 was announced in June of 2017 after skipping the One Plus 4. In this video I talk about why OnePlus decided to skip the One Plus four, and jump right to the OnePlus five. This review and unboxing video for the OnePlus 5 is all about durability and how your new cell phone is going to last through the coming years. Haiku Stairs: The Hawaii Stairway to Heaven

03:20
This was filmed with the DJI Mavic: http://amzn.to/2lx7hKP The Haiku Stairs, or better known as the Stairway to Heaven is on the Island of Oahu in Hawaii. This is one of the absolute coolest hikes I have ever done. And its so incredibly unfortunate that it is illegal. When I heard that there were plans to remove the stairs entirely from the mountain, I was disappointed. Hopefully Hawaii wont allow this to happen. And the stairs will be allowed to reopen to the public instead. Would you hike this if it was Legal? How much would you be willing to pay? iPhone 8 Durability Test - BEND TEST - Glass Scratch Video!

06:39
Can the iPhone 8 survive the JerryRigEverything Durability tests?! Will the new glass design change of the iPhone 8 mess with the structural integrity of the phone? Doing a bend test of the iPhone 8 is the only way to find out. I have done over 75 smartphone durability tests, and the iPhone 8 is the next one on my list. Apple has said that the glass on their new smartphone is the most durable smartphone glass ever. Will that correlate to a higher rating on the Mohs Hardness Scale? There is only one way to find out and that is with the JerryRigEverything durability test. My tests are the best way to find out if your iPhone 8 will last for the next 2-3 years in your pocket. Would you buy this new Glass Back iPhone 8? or would you wait for the iPhone x? Does Apple really use Sapphire?: https://youtu.be/Zx4hRmuW6TM iPhone 7 durability test: https://youtu.be/0vYfAqEyGV0 The camera I used to film this video: http://amzn.to/2p7GtkX The Lens I used for this video: http://amzn.to/1QOXDw2 Wide angle lens: http://amzn.to/2qiYM4u And this Metabones adapter: http://amzn.to/2iZ67Ty This is the drone I use: http://amzn.to/2joH00G *Follow me for updates!* Instagram: http://instagram.com/zacksjerryrig Facebook: http://on.fb.me/1U4bQqv Twitter: https://twitter.com/ZacksJerryRig Snapchat: http://bit.ly/1UAb2Fq GooglePlus: https://bit.ly/1YyKice JerryRigEverything assumes no liability for property damage or injury incurred as a result of any of the information contained in this video. Note 8 Camera Lens Replacement - Cracked Glass fix

03:40
Did you accidentally break the camera lens on your Samsung Note 8? ME TOO! (kinda.) HERE is the Bonafide Hardware 'glass only' lens: http://amzn.to/2CILSmp And HERE Is the Note 8 Camera Lens with frame: http://amzn.to/2z1nHxB It is easier to replace 'just the glass' part of your camera lens. So I recomend buying the first link. BUT if you are replacing the back panel of your phone at the same time as your camera lens. THEN you might want to buy the full camera lens with frame. That way your frame will look brand new along with the lens. If the Glass is just cracked on your Note 8, but still takes good pictures, I do not recommend attempting this repair. Tweezers make this process way easier: http://amzn.to/2Bklm6M Go slow and be careful to not let glass dust fall into the camera unit. If your Galaxy Note 8 camera stops focusing then just follow the steps in this video to try and clear it out. Let me know if you have any questions!
