Top 10 censored and banned locations on google maps Subscribe to our channel: http://goo.gl/9CwQhg For copyright matters please contact us at: firstname.lastname@example.org Other Videos You Might Like 10 Unusual Kids Summer Camps You Don't Believe Exist https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iyyAl7cFPmU The Most Dangerous Places Tourists Should Never Visit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lsjbBZX56VI Description: One of the most incredible innovations that have come from the digital age is Google Maps. Since its release, people stopped depending on maps or printing out directions. Instead, all people have to do now is download the app onto their phone, and they have their own GPS system in the palm of their hand that is up to date and connected to the Internet. If you don’t know what your destination looks like, all you need to do is type in the address into Google Maps and you can see where you’re going and know what to look for. Along with Google Maps, Google Earth has given people the ability to look at destinations from an aerial view using satellite images and terrain views where you can actually look at the location in its truest form and not just colored lines and labeling. Nowadays, people have seen the “Google Cars” driving around their town with a bunch of cameras in a ring for the purpose of capturing as much information as possible to be uploaded online. But with such technology, there is always a risk when it comes to national security. With such amazing technology, terrorists and other people who don’t have good intentions can scope out their target on Google Maps and plan out their attack. In order to protect the public and that location, Google Maps will blur or black out locations that aren’t allowed to be seen by the general public. In this video, are ten places that you’re not allowed to see on Google Maps. From a heart shaped island to a giant bunny these are some of the weirdest google map images you won't believe actually exist! 10 - You’re not safe anywhere! So besides the vehicles that capture the images for Google Maps, there are also trikes, trolleys, snowmobiles, SUV’s and satellites that capture the images throughout the year. So you are really not safe anywhere! So when this poor woman needed to go – she really needed to go. What she didn’t need, was Google taking a picture of her doing her business. Granted she did have a whiz on the side of the road in broad daylight – but I doubt she ever imagined that she would be seeing this image online! 9 - How’s this for a “space” ship… This is the SS Jassim, and it’s one of the largest ship wrecks visible from Google Earth. It’s no surprise really, as the ferry is 80.54 metres long and 13 metres wide. Just a little bit of FYI, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric administration, there are roughly 1 million shipwrecks at this exact point in time. It was in 2003 that the SS Jassim sank just off the coast of Sudan. 8 - What do they teach our kids? Imagine asking someone what school they go to, and they reply – Oh, the school with the giant penis. I’m sure you will be a bit surprised, but it’s the truth. The Clancy Catholic School has been vandalized with the etchings of 3 giant penises. The school has been struggling to get the image removed from Google Maps, and have had no luck so far. 7 - No joke… Google Maps has really uncovered many things that some people would rather forget. This image has brought out buried memories for Jose Barrera, who believes that the image he is seeing, is the body of his deceased 14-year-old son, who was killed in 2009. 6 - Speculate away… because there are loads of “unexplained” images just like this doing the rounds on Google Maps. Sad to say though, there is no alien involvement and all of them have a pretty logical explanation. Desert Breath began in 1995, and is still visible after all this time. It’s over a million square feet, and found in the eastern Sahara Desert, bordering the Red Sea. The team displaced 8000 cubic metres of sand to create these incredible shapes. 5 - We found him… That’s Wally of course, and this was a project by Melanie Coles. For her final year art project, she created a massive Where’s Wally and popped it on the roof of a building in Vancouver. She challenged people to play using Google Earth, and offered a real life version of the very popular game. She did of course get an A for her efforts. 4 - Sheer beauty This is the Grand Prismatic Spring,in the Yellowstone National Park, and Google Maps has captured its beauty brilliantly. 3 - Say cheese There are many Google Map images of faces. There’s an Oprah Winfrey Maze, Pumkins sketched into fields, Suns appearing in crops, the smiling face of the Versailles Gardens, we’ve seen “lips” and bare bottoms appearing out of hay bales and trees… but this image is just so unique. It’s of a native American Indian peering out from the hills of Alberta, in Canada. A mix between old and new, as it appears like she is wearing headphones. 2 - Hop to it… If you were to go for a hike in Northern Italy’s mountainside sometime between now and 2025, don’t be surprised when you come across this gigantic bunny. It’s 55 meters long, and was meant to make its audience feel tiny, like I Gulliver’s travels. It’s made from straw and fabric, and will decompose naturally. The say by 2025 it will be gone. 1 - Just for the love of it… And our last image – just because we love what we do… here is a heart shaped island, just for you. Made famous by Google Maps, this 130 000-foot islet is now a lover’s hot spot. Apparently no one lives on the island, so the owner said it would be the perfect place for a romantic getaway. So book your next romantic getaway now… just be careful that Google Maps doesn’t snap you in the act!

Check out the weirdest things on google earth! These strange pictures on google maps are absolutely bizarre! Subscribe For New Videos! http://goo.gl/UIzLeB Watch our "Places Google Earth Is HIDING From You!" video here: https://youtu.be/sJ_w4qJ06LE Watch our "AMAZING Facts About Your Body!" video here: https://youtu.be/aCm1Z1wBLNc Watch our "Most MYSTERIOUS Ocean Facts!" video here: https://youtu.be/BzrlpgRVPQg List of weirdest things on google earth: Ghost Island In 2013 researchers went looking for Sandy Island in the Coral Sea, east of Australia. Scientific databases showed the island to be about the size of Manhattan. Discovered in 1876 by a whaling ship, Sandy Island has been included on maps for more than a century, including, obviously, on Google Earth. When the Australian scientists arrived at the location, the only thing they found was open ocean. There was no other island that could have possibly been Sandy in sight. It just wasn’t there. So what happened to it? Did it sink beneath the waves? Was it just a figment of our imagination? It's possible that what the whaling ship had seen was a pumice raft, a floating raft of frothy light rock produced by volcanoes that can float around for years before breaking up. The island had gained so much fame it actually had an obituary published for it in April 2013. In it the researchers explained how the phantom island could have remained in geographical mind and maps due to human error. This "undiscovery" made headlines around the world and reminds us that despite modern technology, there are still mysteries to be solved in the ocean. Google and National Geographic quickly removed Sandy Island from their maps. Pentagram One thing's for sure, this is no crop circle or accident, this pentagram was placed there on purpose. Located in Kazakhstan, this is sure to lead any suspicious mind to the devil’s door. The 5-pointed star surrounded by a circle measures 1,200 feet (366m) in diameter. Located on the shore of a desolate lake, the pentagram shows up crystal clear on Google Maps if you wanted to look it up yourself. When the image first rose from the underworld to the internet, many were quick to link it, and Google, to devil worship. The pentagram is an ancient symbol used by many cultures and is not always satanic. It turns out that it is simply a park. Archaeologist Emma Usmanova has worked in the region for years and explained that its pathways were purposefully designed to create the shape of a star. The star is marked by roads lined with trees, making the shape stand out. The star was a popular symbol during the Soviet Union and many guessed that the site may have been an abandoned Soviet campground. Desert Spiral Google maps has frozen this double spiral in time. When people first saw the formation located in the Egyptian desert near the coast of the Red Sea, all kinds of theories arose. Crop circle, alien message, even a portal to an alternate universe. It’s too large and perfectly designed to have been created by any one person. Well, it was actually created by three women. Known as the Desert Breath, it is a super sized art installation created by DAST Arteam, a trio of Greek artists in March of 2007. The piece covers an area of about 10 hectares (25 acres). According to the artists it’s meant to "celebrate the desert as a state of mind, a landscape for the mind.” The spiral is made up of cones made from sand and is subject to natural erosion. Over time it will disappear and become part of the desert plain once more. Syrian Holes Images of the current civil war in Syria is by no means new to the internet. While the destruction on a human level has been caught by photographers and news coverage, satellites have also recorded the damage to hundreds of archaeological sites. All six of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the country, which are considered widely to be one of the oldest occupied areas on Earth have been damaged or destroyed. You can see the destruction for yourself if you were to look up Apamea via Google Earth. The location of the ancient Roman city is now a sea of pockmarked holes stretching over the entire area, left by looters since the start of the wr. Looters and treasure hunters have dug over 4000 holes looking for uncovered treasures to sell on the black market to finance the wr. These holes are about 2-3 meters across and in some cases are used to store weapons. Airplane Graveyard This might be one of the biggest, and coolest, graveyards you ever see. Located in Tucson, Arizona, the Davis Monthan Air Force Base is where U.S. military planes often find their final resting place. The cemetery stretches 2,600 acres and has been nicknamed “The Boneyard.” While the site is closed to the general public, modern day technology holds nothing sacred, not even the dead, and images of it are available for all to see on Google Earth (and other interactive maps). And it is something to see indeed.

Funny Google Map and Google Street View images. One of the most useful technological inventions of the past decade is Google Maps. It helps us figure out where we’re going, how far away things are, and just gives a god-like omnipresent overview of our planet ... and everything happening at the moment when the Google car drives by snapping pics. They usually blur out the faces to protect people’s privacy though, of course! From the weird Japanese town full of dolls instead of people to the possibly real zombie captured in a random Google Earth images! Subscribe to American Eye http://goo.gl/GBphkv 11. Yoga By the Beach Nothing is more relaxing and enlightening then doing some healthy yoga poses by the beach. This woman in Whitstable, England is trying to connect her body and mind on the beautiful coastline and it certainly isn’t something you see everyday on google maps. 10. Scarecrow Army This one here is frightening for anyone who decides to do a little exploring on Google Maps in Finland. What first appears to look like a bunch of random people standing in the middle of a empty field, is actually a group of creepy scarecrows who look like they're about to come life at any moment. For what reason could the Finnish possibly need this many scarecrows? Maybe they're used to scare off zombies? Who knows… 9. Biohazard Suits These two guys here, definitely know something about the zombie apocalypse that we don’t! Dressed up in those creepy biohazard jumpsuits, these guys in Sweden must have really spooked the google street car as he drove by at golf course. This guy with a golf club looks like he’s trying to defend himself against someone who’s suit didn’t protect him from becoming a zombie. 8. Watch out! This large bird is heading straight for the driver and he possibly has plans on snatching him for a quick meal. Located on the isla de Seymour Norte of the Galapagos Islands, the camera was able to snap this photo of some of the diverse, wildlife on these remarkable islands. 7. The Boneyard The Davis Monthan Air Force Base located in Tucson, Arizona, is also known as the Boneyard and collects the remains of thousands of military airplanes in a 2600 acre space. It almost seems like a cemetery for almost every airplane and helicopter used since world war 2 and is a very interesting place to explore on google maps. Who knows what are our government will decide to do with all of these planes. 6. Biggest Word Ever When you have enough money to dig your name out of the ground big enough for it to be clearly visible from google maps and space, you know you’ve finally made it. Hamad Bin Hamdan Al Nahyan is in fact a billionaire and part of Abu Dhabi’s ruling family. He had his name carved into a sandy surface on Futaisi Island, which he owns, located in the Persian Gulf. Not only is this a tad egocentric but also a tad creepy. 5. Pigeon People Have pigeons finally been genetically engineered to look more human like.Throw some bird seed and run! You better hope they’ll settle for eating bread crumbs and not human brains. If you’re strolling down the streets in Musashino, Japan near Tokyo, you may come across the horrific pigeons people who may peck out one of your eyeball. So watch out!It doesn’t matter what direction it goes, the pigeons are still staring at the camera. The google street driver didn’t apply for this job to be traumatized for life! 4. Zombie Balcony Look for this zombie in Nancy, France on a balcony if you day. This image doesn’t appear like a prank, just a zombie peering out onto the street, hungry for brains. You better hope she doesn’t know how to ride that back because fast moving flesh eaters are the last thing we need! 3. Zombie Child In case you weren’t a believer that the zombie apocalypse isn’t here or not coming soon, take a look on google maps for more zombie children like in this photo here. This is the last thing the street car driver wants to see. No one had mentioned anything about zombies in the job interview and a brainless driver wouldn’t be too useful for the company. 2. National Nevada Security Site Ever wonder what a nuclear wasteland looks like? Or how the land might look after it’s been bombarded by about 1000 atomic blasts Well check the national nevada security site and take a look at some of the strange things going on there. It somewhat similar to the surface of the moon. The site was created in 1951 and is still in use today. Small towns were built in order to be absolutely obliterated to test the effectiveness of nuclear weapons. Located northeast of the proving grounds, is the infamous area 51. You may not see any aliens on google maps here on groom lake but you can imagine what goes on below the ground! 1. Creepy Kazakhstan Pentagram In northern Kazakhstan, near the Russian border, you’ll find this mysterious pentagram in an isolated region by a lake. This 5 pointed star often represents the spirit, and then the elements of earth, air, fire and water. But if it’s pointed upside down like we see in this photo, it means something much more sinister. It’s often used by pagans and wiccans and represents dark spirits like the one of the devil. The two upright points tend to imply to satan’s horns. Was this site used a place for devil worship. Who knows!

Now Google Maps will let you tell your friends where you are and give them directions to your location. It will also let you pick a special friend (like a family member, spouse or love interest, for example) to share your location with long-term. The new feature is available now but you’ll need to set it up for each individual. To do so, tap the blue dot indicating where you are in the map or go to the side menu in the app and tap “Get Started.” After that, just follow the same instructions but instead tap “Share Location,” then choose any number of contacts with whom you want to share your location for a few minutes, hours, months or on an on-going basis. But users who forgot about having location sharing enabled were opening themselves up to being tracked and potentially stalked. It also lent a sort of creepy vibe to the social network that’s today focused on letting users more precisely control what information they’re sharing, and with whom.

From Zombie sightings in Mobile, Alabama, to the scariest place in Romania; Take a trip through the 10 CREEPIEST Cities to Explore on Google Earth ! Subscribe to American Eye http://goo.gl/GBphkv 10. East St. Louis 9. Camden, New Jersey 8. Hashima Island, Japan 7. Namie, Japan 6. Sighisoara, Romania 5. New Orleans, Louisiana 4. Virginia City, Nevada Explore the entire well preserved ghost town of Virginia City, that we mentioned on our most haunted places in the US video. Besides some of the modern day vehicles, this place is exactly the way it was over 100 years ago and it’s the most haunted place in Nevada. Some ghost towns are quite as accessible on google maps, and this is one of the more detailed ones we were able to find. Ignore the motorcycles and get a good feel for how historic site would have looked, when miners were sifting the the hills in search of gold. Drop into the Silver Terrace cemetery for a creepy flash from the past! While we're on the subject of ghost towns, we’d like to mention that the city of Pripyat is available now for street view, but since nature has basically taken over the land again, it’s difficult to see anything because of the trees 3. Mobile, Alabama Mobile Alabama might not get too much attention when it comes to exploring on google maps but it’s actually one of the oldest cities in the US. Originally settled by the French, it was deemed the original capital of the Louisiana territory in 1702. It has a large number of historic neighborhood that can get a little creepy to explore sometimes. There’s just something about the trees and the old civil war style mansions on government street that you might find unsettling. But that’s not it, if you venture to the northwest part of town, it appears as though a zombie is glaring at the google streets car. In the abandoned parking lot of a laundromat, someone is all by themselves just standing there for now reason. Also if you got time, you can actually walk on to the USS Alabama that’s been retired in the Mobile River. This was one of the most prolific battleships, that shot down dozens of japanese aircraft during world war II without ever getting a scratch in return. 2. Bogotá, Colombia The capital city of Bogota is one of the most dangerous cities in the world and we’re still pretty surprised the google street car had the courage to drive through some neighborhoods here! If you visit the neighborhood of Altos de Cazuca, you’re going to see one of the most neglected areas in south america. The area is run by local gangs certainly aren’t afraid to get violent. The streets are not paved, there’s quite a bit of pollution, graffiti, you name it.You can also venture off to central Bogota for some virtual exploring and check out La Concordia district. The chances of getting kidnapped in Colombia are greater than anywhere else in the world. So it’s better to check this place out on google maps and maybe you can spot some shady activity. 1. Detroit Michigan Everyone knows that the city of Detroit, Michigan has been going through a rough time and many have fled their homes. This makes it quite the creepy place to explore, without having to feel as though you’re in danger. Not only are there an abundance of creepy abandoned places, this is also the arson capital of the world and no city burns quite like Detroit. So don’t be surprised if you come across some burnt buildings here. As you explore through this city in urban decay, you might not realize at first glance that some places are abandoned, until you look behind some of the trees that have grown in front of them. In the neighborhood of Ravendale 2 out of every 3 houses are abandoned. Some sources even claim you can buy an entire house here for 1000 dollars. It’s chilling to see how some gardens are well kept right next to ones that have become simply out of control!. What’s this Corvette doing here! Something seems suspicious! The Neighborhood of Northwest Goldberg was also quite prosperous at one point in time but all you’ll see now are graffitied buildings and abandoned buildings. It almost seems as though this city will never be the bustling motor city it once was

We have all had the challenge of finding a decent fishing spot at one time or another. Sometimes it gets old fishing the same places over and over, so you need to mix up your fishing locations. Lucky for us we have Google Maps and many other satellite mapping services available to us online that allow easy access to new fishing spots. In this video, Matt from SBFishingTV explains how he likes to use Google Maps to find new fishing spots and then how he approaches these new locations from a fish-catching perspective. Google map is very powerful. You can plan a trip using google map to route your directions, input your cities, and even download the data offline for when you are traveling in another country (must be in offline mode and load the data before going offline) and use Google navagation to route you from point to point.
trojans 360.tumblr.com There are two major navigation apps to choose from, and despite them being owned by the same company, people tend to pick sides. Well, hopefully, I can set the record straight. I'd say the biggest deciding factor is, as a college student, whether or not you drive a car. If you need a navigation app, but don't have a car, like most of us, your answer is pretty much Google Maps. But if you do drive, the answer gets a bit more interesting.

Google Maps Offline: Download a google map, save it to your smartphone and use offline navigation in three steps. 1. Open the map of the city/place you want to download (you need wifi connection to do so) 2. go to the menu and click on offline areas. 3. click on custom areas and simply download the map. It take a little bit of time, but then you can always open up the your offline maps/areas and use gps to find your current location on the map and you can even use the navigation feature. If you are going to travel the world and if you need an app to download offline maps - google map is not only the number one solution - it is also the easiest way to download an offline map you can also use for navigation. It doesn't matter if you just want to find your gps location when riding a night bus through Southeast Asia or if you ride a camper van through New Zealand or Australia - this app will save you! ***** You should also watch this - cheap ways to travel Europe: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FjFjps1GDbE Top Travel Apps: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j_QPA_Xfbe0 Backpacking around Vietnam: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YUslLDaT-e0 YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/thehowtubevideos Social Networks & Pictures: Instagram: http://instagram.com/thehowtube/ Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/HowTube Twitter: http://twitter.com/theHowTube Pinterest: http://www.pinterest.com/thehowtube/ ***** Hi, I love movies, exploring the world and social media.
