In a bit late... but Sonos is pretty much perfectly in sync, and also allows for L+R pairing (and a lot more than 2 speakers). To say that "Dual Audio" is the same as Sonos is pretty far off, even if the speakers are expensive.
stupid the Bluetooth wont work properly at all everyone has issues pairing the damn thin with devices. what a shit phone.i m so mad right now that much money and it doesnt connect to my car Bluetooth and my job depends on it
If one can connect two speakers, there should definitely be an option that lets one add some delay to one of the speakers. Sure one could build it into the protocol as well (please do) but for older speakers a delay would be great!
Sorry to be a downer but i LOVE the small range of bluetooth..
Unless you can adjust the range (please do)
Bluetooth is why i dont lose my phone.
(buzz buzz) out of range trying to connect.
10-30 ft allows me to leave a room then come back before someone steals my phone.
A great explanation of Bluetooth 5.0. You've got a talent for explaining tech in a simple and entertaining way. I love smartphones and your videos teach us all about them helping us make smarter choices.
What a great insight on the technology! In most cases Bluetooth is used for audio speakers nowadays. I get to wonder if Apple always knew this, hence their approach towards the mighty Blue. Excellent breakdown, I swear my mum would have understood it. No kidding, you are really good. A thousand thumbs up!!!
I love your videos, but there is incorrect information. The Bluetooth SIG did a terrible job explaining Bluetooth 5 and caused this confusion.
1. The extended Bluetooth range on Bluetooth 5 is an OPTIONAL feature for Bluetooth 5, so unless someone can verify the phone has the range, it may not be there.
2. The extended Bluetooth 5 range is SLOWER than Bluetooth 4.2 since it uses the optional coded PHY that gets its longer distance by reducing speed.
3. The higher 2x speed is an OPTIONAL feature of Bluetooth 5. So again, this feature needs to be verified it exists on each Bluetooth product.
4. Kind of a repeat, but if the Bluetooth 5 has both OPTIONAL features of the longer range and higher speed, know that these features are MUTUALLY EXCLUSIVE of one another. In other words, you either get the longer range OR the higher speed, but NOT BOTH AT THE SAME TIME.
Anyway, keep up the great videos, but please correct this misinformation that the Bluetooth SIG completely messed up (Mr. Powell, are you listening?)
Marques, I’m sure you have heard of JBL flip 4 speakers, well they hold the Guinness book world record for the most Bluetooth speakers simultaneously running on a single device, over 1000 flip 4 speakers all at once.
