settings> network and internet> wifi> wifi preferences> keep wifi on during sleep> Only When Plugged In
keep in mind this will prevent the phone from fetching notifications but that's fine with me since I only care to be notified for emails and social media things when I'm already using my phone. and instead of choosing to have it never on, i choose "only when plugged in" so that the google play store will start to automatically download updates when i charge my phone
also have battery saver turn on automatically at 15%
turn off bluetooth
turn off nfc when your not using it (this may not do anything, but i do it anyways)
turn off adaptive brightness
You will get Oreo eventually, probably 2018 its 9.0 that u probably wont get and if you do it'll be your last. The Nokia 8 already has Android 8.0 Oreo and the rest of the family will receive it in the coming months. From the looks of it if you want solid build quality, good specs, stock android, and fast updates for years then Nokia is tye company to go for unless you like the pixel lineup but i feel they are overpriced for the specs that you receive, checkout the Nokia 8 if you dont mind bezels as it has top of the line specs for less than the price of the S8 while actually performing better that it also.
Gautami Pandit If you own the Pixel 1/Pixel 1 XL, you would clearly know that this is NOT a Pixel 2 XL. Hell, you couldn't even confuse this phone with the regular Pixel 2.
You're just dumb for even suggesting it's the Pixel 2 XL and you're basing it just off of the UI. Do you know with the amounts of customization that is available, one could make their device look and feel like the Pixel software?
