How human can a robot be?

103 ratings | 12582 views
Humanlike robot Pepper came onto the market in Japan in 2015. Now it's being sold to companies in the US and in Europe. The robot with the cute eyes can talk, walk (on wheels), do small tasks and make jokes. In Austria the robot is part of research at the Vienna University of Technology. It’s interesting to see how people, especially children, immediately feel attached to the robot. But how human is this robot actually?

Next step would be that Pepper would have 2 legs to walk on and not fall over. To be able to take stairs.

Hello Laura., what kind of help would you need in programming the robot? If you could share the same, perhaps, we can unite and work on the same, or I could get you. We are developing and programming apps for pepper and quite happy with the same. You can find more about us from our facebook page https://www.facebook.com/proborobotics/
