bring the the Nexus back!!!!! the new pixel 2 & XL are nothing compared to what the 6p offered. I just saw the new XL and the build quality is poor compared to the 6p, the back feels like plastic and I can probably bend the damn thing so easily! the rounded edges of the screen makes me feel like I've been robed some vision. on a personal note the new pixel 2 didn't make it, I own a 6p what is cracked and the battery runs dry so fast now but after looking at the pixel 2 I think I might just buy another 6p to replace this one.
I'm sad to see Google moving in the high-end direction now with their Pixel phones. The Moto G series is a worthy spiritual successor to Nexus IMO, as they feature stock Android at a low price with decent specs. OnePlus also had the potential to enter this category, but their update roll-outs have proven to be horrific.
I still using Nexus 4 in fact watching here I also have Nexus 5. I destroy Nexus 7 2012 in rage because slow half freeze Jesus.....I had Nexus 7 2013 it was superb but also destroyed by fighting with my brother in rage argue....lol anyway I finally find Nexus 5 new brand I got 2 em 😂 as now I have 1 Nexus 4, 3 Nexus 5...I skipped Nexus 6 😱
Sadly the divergence from reasonable, economical options.. means I'm leaving the Google ecosphere.. they are just another phone company now and not a great one for the same price. They are just plain expensive.
Nexus 5x cant last longer. Bootloading issue in a huge number of units. Same goes to 6p and pixel. The best nexus they ever produced was nexus 5. No more nexus for me after this. Google phone can fuck off.
Had a case on my N4 that made it big as a 5. Kinda wish I'd not given up the 5 for the 6. Was leary of anything Motorola...rightly so. It began failing in less than a year, T-Mo did not offer the 6P, so I was lead to the V10...Love Google, but I'm not looking back...
im watchin this from a galaxy nexus. Best phone iv gotten so far. Sure i have a newer shinier overall better phone in terms of usability and everything else except it has a special place in my heart and its now my ip webcam for spying on my THOT neighbores
I love the idea of OnePlus, but their update rollouts have been horrifically slow, which is the complete opposite of what Nexus was always known for. I think the Moto G series better represents what Nexus was.
My 6P is hands down the smoothest and most device I've used that ticks all my boxes for what I want and need in a smartphone.
Even the Pixel and the Pixel 2 generations are a hard sell for me. Genuinely still thinking I'll pick up another 6P when this one bites the dust!
Pixel 2 xl should be a good upgrade. Hopefully 10nm processors and 3520 mah battery could give good battery life. That is my only complain wth my Nexus 6P.
Dont get me wrong. I could make it last full day, with some tweaks here and there. But after using Mate 9 for a while, i really missed the epic battery life when using Nexus 6p. (I actually downgraded since I miss resurrection rom in 6p).
