At JailbreakCon 2014 I sat down and chatted with Steven De Franco, better known in the community as iH8sn0w about what jailbreaking is all about and whether or not you should jailbreak or root your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch or Android phone / tablet.
Better explanation: “I’m a bored teenager... let’s do something cool! Yeah”, *Goes on YouTube types in: Hot ti jeilbreik*, *Autocorrect corrects to: Hot tits breakdown*. *Watches porn for 20 minutes* the he goes back to work.
My old Galaxy s4 is rooted but it's Verizon so the bootloader is completely locked :( also in about 8 years I play on rooting my Galaxy s8+ (Verizon) once I no longer use it and start buying my phones unlocked
Save you some time.
Dont jailbreak if:
-If you are an idiot
-not tech savvy
-dont want o void warrenty(best reason)
-if you have ever used an android device
-want to expand beyond apples harsh restrictions.
I'm jailbroken on iOS 9.3.3 right now. It makes my iOS experience that much better. I feel like I can use my iPhone as a computer replacement: I have a filesystem browser which can open various file types, zip/unzip, I have a Safari downloader, custom CC toggles, organize notifications by app, and much more.
I used to jailbreak my iPad and I loved it. But recently I had a huge scare when it died on me. Luckily I'm very tech savvy and I managed to fix it (even though I did an all nighter to do so). But even if I hadn't fixed it, it would be dead because the warranty is gone once jailbroken. So right now I would say don't jailbreak as it has caused my iPad to temporarily die on me, and voided the warranty. But to each their own. I was advised against it, but still did it haha
