Getting both G6 and V20 for both 470€ second hand in very good condition :D Atm I have the V10, its still good but it's time to upgrade. I've use it for editing in Lightroom for my instagram photos (@goodeyevisuals) and its very helpful. I don't need Ipad pro or a laptop for editing. I think V20 is verry good upgrade from V10, I'll get the 64gb version. I will use it for editing aswell, and G6 for daily usage. I love LG! Can't even wait until the v30 is out for sale in second hand. Might upgrade to it in the end of 2018 😎
If you are planning to keep the phone for more than a year the s8 is not for you. Samsungs amoled displays have tonnes of issues and because of the edge to edge there incredibly expensive and tricky to fit. I'm not talking about smashing the screen. Pink line of death from the s7 anyone?
No thanks the lcd on the LG is more reliable and you won't get burn in.
I had an s7 edge for 1 year and the pink line came. When I went to get the screen replaced I found out it's $300.
Samsung has no international warranty either. LG does.
Why spend so much on a phone then you can't use it for everyday tasks such as GPS like Waze because of burn in. Screw that G6 hands down wins.
In 2018 flagship there will be a switch back from oled to lcd you watch due to all the issues with oled yes the blacks are good but that's really it. Go in a store and look yourself the lcd screens look sharper
I love my LG G6, especially the camera. If you are interested in what video looks like shot using the wide angle lens, I made a video of the Flatiron building and Madison Square Park with the wide angle lens on my channel.
So Marques how much does Samsung contribute to your full-a-shit fund? How could you leave out the potential break ability of your S8 screen based on the curved edge design which makes for such an incredibly easy screen to break by way of minor drops or bumps due to the inherently weak curved glass. It's a beautiful thing to behold, but that doesn't interpret into a phone with the confidence that is side rails which are totally exposed. I really believe Samsung went with this design for both the beauty of its appearance, but also for the massive numbers of replacement displays they have sold to date and the large number of S8's which have been sold to those who simply don't have the ability to wait for repairs to be completed, so they just drop another $700 on a phone that was released to the market with this very scenario considered. It's not a business practice that anyone would consider as having the integrity we expect when we put down our "hard earned" for a Mobile device we hope to get two years of service from, and this phone isn't going to provide that.
I buy a new top of the range phone every year and have been with Samsung since the first Samsung Galaxy all the way up to the S7 (Not edge). I always hated the edge to edge design and also said I would go for the flat screen option. Well this year you never got that option it looks like Samsung will make all there phones curved from now on. For the last few years I haven't been to happy with Samsung when they moved the headphone jack to the bottom of the phone (Which is just a miner thing) and the upgrade form S6 to S7 well I never noticed a lot of difference between the two intact the S6 had a better phone. So I moved away from Samsung and chose between the Google pixi and LG. I wanted a headphone jack so picked LG and its a good and ticks most of the boxes for me and is also cheaper than the S8 the G6 is so underated and now suites me better than the Samsung. Would give the phone a 8/10.
I have what you have on your T shirt cystic fibrosis do you know anybody with it or is there someone you are related to with it also where did you get that shirt? Also thanks bro for showing your support for this horrible disease that basically has zero awareness!
Lets be clear, I have the S8 for around 8 months and It's really nice phone, nice features, nice screen, nice pictures....ect. One major down point for me is the curved edge...what a mess if you try to found a screen protector, almost nothing work. I prefer not curved screen cause its more easy to protect. When I look the G6, the screen is so gorgeous, big and clear. I'm thinking right now to sell, my S8 and buy a G6. What do you think?
Lg G6 got my money 5 months after release for £375 out of the box. S8 way too pricey for what it is. Plus i hate the edge display. Just waiting for the v30 price to drop like a bomb and ill move over to that.
