yo am i tripping or does the first part look like a 3d animation?
Dolan Tremp (5 months ago)
Personally I think the whole smart home thing is kinda pointless. Like is it really *that* inconvenient to just manually flip the light switch or press the start button on the coffee maker?
Home Plus (4 months ago)
Dolan Tremp. So by the time you arrive home, your home is cleaned, the lights turn on, the coffee make is turned on, the tv is turned on and the temperature is increased.

It's cool the nsa doesn't have to install bugs anymore for surveillance...

Bosch make me an integrated washer and dryer system where I don’t have to manually take out of my clothes from the washer and put them in the dryer. Once my clothes are washed it will automatically drop them in the dryer. And then if you make an automatic cloth folding system it would be game over.

I'd like it if you covered more smart home tech in future videos. Not just when a new Amazon or Google device comes out, would set the channel apart from the me-toos.

One word: IOTA ;)

Easy lives are just getting easier. That's all this does.

Oh, Hi NSA!
basdfgwe (5 months ago)
Nothing that you've talked about is anything new. A lot of people already have a smart home already, and nothing that was showed changes what's already availabe.

trg1408 (5 months ago)
My idea for a smart home is something that can work offline somewhat too.
trg1408 (5 months ago)
Igor Bukhantsov haha 😂 Yes exactly, especially if power goes out too and it can take a bit for wifi to startup, it'd be nice if everything had some sort of connection other than wifi. A connected home isn't truly connected if it can't be somewhat controlled offline.
Igor Bukhantsov (5 months ago)
trg1408 Exactly right! If your wifi goes out, you're immediately shot back to the 1800's.
Joshua Correa (5 months ago)

lpsoldier301 (5 months ago)
Exactly, I don’t need my phone to tell me my clothes have been washed when we already have beep sounds to notify us.

Bernard P. (5 months ago)
If a person can hack a computer, why in the hell would you want a "smart home"?
abizar rachman (5 months ago)
Because if humans afraid to take risks, we'd probably still stuck in medieval age
Flamed65 (5 months ago)
We shouldn't be afraid of technology just because of the security flaws. Rather we should find ways to protect ourselves
Fishman 02 (5 months ago)
Have you seen mr robot? They hack a woman's smart home and take it over
Android 26 (5 months ago)
Very good point!

JP (5 months ago)
Thank you but no. I much prefer to continue with my dumb home and have less microphones, less cameras, less connected devices in the house, monitoring me and my family.
christian aquino (5 months ago)
Finally someone who agrees with me
S Saini (5 months ago)
seriously..I mean how safe is this stuff from Hackers?
Hiluxtaco (5 months ago)
JP Same here. I am totally cool with my non-connected house. It seems like every appliance will now have the ability to spy on you, with the potential to be hacked, or nark on you to some shady government agency..
