Should You Buy Samsung Galaxy S8 March 2018? In this video we take a look at the smaller edition of the S8 series which recently got a price discount and find out if it is worth it! If you have this phone do us a favor and share a word or two about the device in your experience and enjoy the video :)
My phone provider, GiffGaff in the UK, had a great deal on the S8+ so I jumped up from my S7.
I genuinely didn't see the benefit of the new phone and I confess that the movement of the fingerprint scanner to the back of the phone just irritated me to the point I returned the phone and went back to the S7.
Iris scanning and facial recognition are just too hit or miss to be reliable for me.
I ordered one just yesterday! My only concern is, since the phone is a year old, will I receive a unit with a slightly diminshed battery lifespan? It HAS been a year after all, or does the battery lifespan remain intact until it gets actually used?
Samsung... what da hell are you doing with your front facing cam on all your devices??? Softness. Not even better than the one on the iP6!!!
Thx Nick... you're super pro and objective ! Regards from France 🇫🇷 Man 😉
Dear nick I have a question:
I got the j5 2016 phone and its on android marshmallow.. and the nougat version got out so should I update it? Some say i should and i just wanted to know your opinion..
Hope I can get an answer :D!
Still have it, still amazing!! The battery has improved, just like you said, if I keep the screen on time to 4-5 hours, it altogether lasts over 24hrs on just one charge easy.
Otherwise, I've managed to push it up to 8 and a half hours of screen on time and it still lasted some 14 hours, maybe slightly longer. And it actually looks better to me than the S9, which I've held in hand. In fact in Denmark we had sales actions in many Samsung stores where if you exchanged your S8 in good condition and ordered the S9 (you could play with it and try it out in the store) within a period which lasted for two weeks, you could get a discount for up to $400. Meaning, considering my S8 is only 6 months old and in mint condition, I could've upgraded to the S9 for just $700. Here it costs approx. 1100 dollars. Yet I skipped it, just wasn't worth it imo.
Anyhow, for anyone currently buying a new phone and considering this one, rather than the S9, I couldn't recommend it more! Especially if you intend of having it for a year instead of two.
Go for it!
I have an S7 Edge, and sure the S8 and the S9 are the most beautiful and well-designed phones of all time, but my S7 Edge is still not outdated. In fact if you don't like the fullscreen design then the S7 Edge is a go since it's one of the last smartphones ever to not have a near-100% screen-to-body ratio and one of the only ones that you can buy now, because 2016 phones are slowly going off the shelves, unless you want to buy an iPhone 8 or 8 Plus.. but that design is getting thrown away as well in favor of fullscreen iPhones.
ِ._ِ. You are taking this too personally. I had an issue in the past so I'm concerned goddamit. It's my money my phone bozo. I don't see why you're being suggestive of how I didn't know what I was doing.
Yes!You can go for Galaxy S8 in March 2018. Performances was good but not the overall perfect. But personally for me I would prefer dual camera smartphones with better RAM,ROM,Battery and well optimised. Don’t get me wrong S8 was good but I would like to prefer One Plus and Huawei series. Google Pixel series staring from Pixel 2 is better option if budgets doesn’t matter. :)
