All the gimmicks apart, as a S8 user, I can testify that it is still the BEST VFM phone with all the latest feature (ip67, fast wireless charging, more sensors than any other flagship phone, Samsung Pay, one of the best camera, most handy with perfect screen and yes, without the shameless "notch" copy gimmicks!
I bought mine after release but after a month of using it, it already shattered twice and as of now, I'm using it with a broken screen. I'd love to buy S9 but maybe it's easy to break too so maybe an iPhone? Aagghhh
Just picked this phone up finally. Half off plus 200 back from phone carrier and they also had a deal with my Credit Union so 300 dollars off of an already half off phone. Could not say no to that. And after 3 days I can honestly say I don't miss my iPhone 6s plus. Been talking about making the switch but now finally did. Yeah the S9 has been out now for quite a while but im happy still.
Hey man, so there is the S7 for 415 Euros and the S8 for 485 Euros in my country. I read a lot of times that the only real difference is the diffrence in design. What do you say? Which one would you recommend me. Cheers. Great video!
Sasanman Prince of Persia Well, it depends. For a lot of people it is but for my hand it fits perfectly, better than on the s9. It is always best to try out yourself if you will like the lack of physical home button, bigger screen a fingerprint reader on the back
Right now, i have the s7 and after using it for 2 years, its battery life sucks. Im thinking about getting a new s7, or should i get the s8 ? I love the home button on the s7 tho. Is it worth spending more money, upgrading to the s8 ?
I just picked this phone up for $5 a month for 24months.... works to $240.... so cheap so I got one for my wife to. Amazing deal by optus! If you live in australia definetly check it out. As it retails for $997 in jb hi fi stil... haha
In my country the s8 plus costs about 800 dollars right now...I want to get it next month but there are some other good..maybe better phones like the p20 pro for the same price...what do you giys suggest?
I was really disappointed about the battery life but someone in xda mentioned package disabler pro app and now the battery life is really great without all the bloatware. The app not require root so is great
I just bought a galaxy S8 for $425 brand new from Boost Mobile and they sent me an unlocked variant!! The box says 950U which is the unlocked version so I can put it on any carrier! Oh and the unlocked version now has android Oreo!
Hi I just got one on great deal so far had kno problems I think I did the write thing getting the s8 over the s9 I'm just a normal user and it ticks all boxs and more for me only thing buy a case it's a must lol
Well that's great phone but it's completely different than iPhone X... edges are sharp and it's not easy to hold, there is one more unnecessary Bixby button that just is always on the way. It's way better experience to hold iPhone X. Also I'd say it's better to get galaxy s8 because there are no reall upgrades in s9 🤔
I bought my 2nd (yes, 2nd!) Galaxy s8 in February of 2018 because I didn't see the point of getting the s9 since they're both almost identical. But i love my s8 and i will be upgrading when the s10 comes out.
Yeah...I bought my Galaxy S8 February 23rd 2018 (Not knowing the Galaxy S9 was coming to stores already on March 16)...I paid full launch price for my Galaxy S8 ($725 plus tax)...Literally 3 days later I could have got it for $599 (plus tax) because everyone started getting ready for the S9 to come out...Oh well...I got a new S8 model...My S8 wasn't manufacture til 10-31-17 so it's not like I got a super old one...I've also been watching comparisons videos and can't tell that the S9 is that much better than the S8.
Performance and lagging issues are gone with oreo. I have the exynos and it is significantly faster. Battery life much better than S9, it is becoming an issue in the S9. Camera hardware in S9 is the same as S8 with the extra variable aperture mechanism. Still dual pixel 12.2 mp. It is the extra software that is a bit different. You get much more options on the S8 with oreo. The S8 imho, has become a challenger in 2018 with oreo when compared to other phones.
