Apple has Killed Jack. But why? What did Jack ever do to Apple? Why kill a useful member of your team? No matter how useful your team mate is... if he doesn't make money for the business... you have to let him go. And that's what happened to Jack. He worked so hard! He did his job PERFECTLY... but he was not making any money for Apple specifically... so now hes gone. Probably for good.
This video explains why I personally think the headphone jack disappeared from the new Apple iPhone 7.
Here are a few links if you want to know more! Why do you think that apple removed the headphone jack? Will you buy the iPhone 7 even though it doesn't have a headphone jack?

Easy to show Apple or any one else that pulls of this who really are in charge. WE as consumers. If we just bitch about everything but do nothing we are equally responsible for it to live on. Take a stand people for what's not right for you.
Yes and No mostly I use a bluetooth Shure headset with my se535 BUT sound qualety sucks compared to the wired version. luckily I jumped of the Appel train werry early so I got a Jack 😎 and I really hope it stays at least til headsets got somthing like 12 hours of play time.
I've been an Apple fanboy, always wanted one and admired each I saw. However, that was when I was 12-13 years old. Now, I'm happy I've never had an Apple product, seeing how greedy they are and how they try to make as much money as they can while cramming the lowest quality product in your pocket. And up to this day, I don't understand people defending Apple with all they can, when their products have never been much more than a beautiful piece of outdated technology in a hermetic eco system... At least since the iPhone 4.
I feel like both are great reasons. But I feel like apple with it's power had the ability to take out the headphone jack because even though many people say they wouldn't get it, most don't think the lack of a headphone jack is a deal breaker. So the money they saved in waterproofing balanced that out.
thats going a decade back - remember before android micro usb, nokia sony ericsson motorola samsung and others used proprietary ports for charge and headsets.... apple not inventing something - they go back to use a decade years old technologies
apple is a shit company only after profits... you fools buy their shit.. ie stand in line for 1 more pixle on a screen..so your giving a greedy company that told you they dont care bout you money and you fools still do it android or nothing samsung or nothing atleast the south koreans care about us and make phones with removable batts and features that outweight the iphone shit box
NOPE. I get that they need to make money off their product and it's all in their right of course, but... isn't the idea that (I have an iPhone now, I want to upgrade to another iPhone and so on for years to come) you keep your customers happy too? You want them to upgrade from an iPhone to another iPhone. Buying an iPhone once off vs. buying 5 iPhones in the span of 10 years. I love my iPhone but I'm upgrading to Samsung instead... iPhone might be a little cheaper, BUT the additional costs will get you in the long run. I mean, I left my charger somewhere once and needed to buy a new one, I paid roughly $30 for it. That's ridiculous... it's not even that easily accessible in my country either.
Lol I have a iPhone 7 I couldn’t work out how to get my music on my laptop onto it soooo I just use my Samsung j5 (with I got free from the note 7 recall plus refund ) as a music player since it has a Sd card of 128 gig with tones of music
My Moto z has no headphone jack to. But the dongle works fine. This phone is so thin I believe there is no room for a jack. However, what apple is doing is making sure you take out you're wallet and buy there products. So we see in the last update for iPhone. Making the older iPhones slower so people buy a new one. I stopt using apple products because of this.
I don’t give 2 shits if it has a headphone jack 😂😂😂 I have my Bluetooth headphones that also works if you have the money android fucking sucks ass I’m a apple person all the way it’s funny how someone bashes a phone for no headphone jack wahhhh grow up 😂😂😂😂😂
An interesting point, however using that logic only Apple would have done this since their port is proprietary. I fail to see how that applies to Android phone manufacturers that decided to remove the headphone jack in favour of the USB-C connector, they don't make any money off of those.

This is a video every Android fanatic should point apple fanboys to. Maybe then they'll understand why most enthousiasts don't like apple and their business model. They are literally ripping off their customers. It's true, they have a legal right to protect their ''assets'' (read rip offs, since apple didn't really invent 99% of the features available on the iphones).
Simple homescreen?: Sony Ericcson M610i did it 1 full year before the first iphone.
Slide to unlock?: Microsoft did it 2 full years with the Windows CE (first mobile full fledged windows phone)
Notification bar?: Android 1.0 did it .. 3 years before the iphone.
What about the design of the first iPhone? It's apple trademark, right?: Samsung F700 did it 6 months before the first iphone.
Then there's siri the virtual assistant who's dumber than my cat: In 2010, Xiaoi, a chinese virtual assistant, was released on the android platform.(Siri launched October 2011)
Ok enough ranting xD
I’m not saying your wrong that is part of the reason, but in hindsight Apple did make a phone with Qi Wireless charging that’s not made by Apple. Apple will eventually get rid of the lightning port, which is the main reason they haven’t switched to USB-C for their iPhone/iPads. Now you could say, “But wait! They wouldn’t use a non-Apple designed port?! That’s outlandish, Allen!” They’ve switched to USB-C on their MacBooks and they’ve put them on their iMac Pro. They could’ve just stayed with their MagSafe port technology or redesigned it. But they didn’t. So yes, they would use that on their iPad or iPhone. They aren’t, though, because eventually they won’t make ports on the iPhone. I do think on the iPad Pro they will put a USB-C port on it on that day they remove the port on the regular iPad and iPhone. Because the iPad Pro will eventually have Pro apps on it and will be used by professionals.
Y'all are always hating on Apple. Even though they do some stupid stuff, their phones are always buttery smooth even years later. Samsungs have so many issues. Their screens always burn out after 2-3 years too.
Interesting to watch this video after integration of Qi wireless charging into the latest iPhones. All arguments about profits brake on included dongle. I heard kind of the same stuff about cd and diskette ports, Ethernet ports, vga ports etc. It is better to move forward. Getting rid of old stuff will make new cool stuff more popular and cheaper.
Google just followed Apple, ditching the headphone jack in Pixel 2. So would iPhone haters like to say something now? 😂 Apple creates the revolution, everyone hates and then starts following it 😂 When first iPhone came with full touchscreen ditching the keypad, Samsung and all other brands hated it, they said "there's no place for apple" and now there's no smartphone with keypads 😂 Apple is Apple 💙
When Steve Jobs was around, it was about having the best design while still having practicality. Apple at this point has thrown practicality out the window, focusing only on making it pretty rather than be functional
This is why I am subscribed to you and not to MKBHD. He is not openly discussing the bullshit Apple throws at the consumers and he didn't even question Apples downclock of the CPU justification in which they blame the battery age and say it is to ensure the user experience. He just brushes it off as a funny controversy.
Keep up the great work and always discuss the issues no matter the phone or company!
