motorola atrix 4g lapdock it was released 5 years ago, now razar "invented the already made and discontinued moto approach due to piir sales! with same $$$ I will buy a smartphone, a laptop and a good game console... good video as always
These phone docks are very cool, but I feel Android is not that evolved that it can be used solely as full fledged computer OS. It’s very difficult for devices like Linda to succeed unless Google intervenes, just imo.
The Razor laptop/smartphone is the way to go. With smartphones costing more and more we need to find added uses for them beside staring at them all day. This will do that, if they can pull it off. You can start selling them as a bundle also. Good idea I hope others jump on this wagon. It is hard to say, did Vivo just make a fool of Apple and its development team, or did Apple make a fool of itself saying they couldn't figure out how to do what Vivo just did? I don't understand Apple people, they just keep backing a company that keeps lying to us consumers and I am afraid also to itself. Smartwatch that doesn't have a heart rate monitor and GPS, then all you have going is Android Wear, too little for me. VR is still a joke and will stay that for years. Until the tech can eliminate that big clunky thing on your head, then it will be limited to a few crazy people. Thanks
It only took like 0.7 seconds to unlock the device, which is not so bad and is still better than a lot of first gen capacitive sensors used before. So, for a first gen product it's pretty good, and even when we compare it to the FaceID (which is well appreciated by everyone) then it's faster and is also extremely secure as well. I think this tech will evolve further in 2018, Qualcomm will also roll out their version soon, and maybe even Samsung will have one.

Naveen Chandra but the fact is it is not a single device. Linda and Razer are two SEPARATE entities installed together to make one. Essentially you are getting an empty chassis which can work with a smartphone processing power. Replacing a much powerful CPU (i5,i7) with a an inferior performing smartphone unit. This is nothing more than a fancy phone accessory to show off. With advent of cloud computing and data streaming you can easily continue your work on any device with a screen and a processor. So Incase you are working on your phone you don’t a physical accessory to connect the dot. This can only be justified with a reasonable price targeting people who need casual computing in a neater and bigger UI in a bigger screen. Oh wait we have tablets for that right ?
Well, int he future it is true, we don't need two different devices, so we will be getting used to such mods and docks that will make your pocket computer a real full fledged computer. But right now, this tech has lots of limitations, like eventhough smartphones are very powerful now, it's not powerful enough for very heavy tasks, the OS also needs to be evolved into a desktop worthy interface (it's not bad right now, but more work need to be done). And smartphone refreshes are also an issue, they gets design changes which makes it difficult for a such a system to work in long term.

I have a better device: A tablet.
Especially iPads are much more useful than this Linda project. Its a good idea, but it lacks basic things, like good games or very good performance. And it runs on Android! Why not atleast Windows ? Theres no point in its existence. And dont go and tell me that its made for productivity, its being marketed as a gaming device!
