Great video comparing the features of both devices but in my opinion this video like so many others are missing What everyone is waiting to hear..... What phone is better, You don't have to be politically correct just in general which one do you believe is better? So many of us are waiting to hear one channel just come out and say which 1 they think is better.
I have a V30, And I like it, But I a little regret buying it because the Note 8 has Fast wireless charging, And I daily use my wireless charging...
Also the front camera is terrible. 5 MP? *No shit Sherlock*
i prefer the v30 over the note 8. If i was getting it for free though i would've gone with the note 8 and sold it for a v30 with change to spare. To me its rear camera its better because i prefer wide angle over zoom. Even if the front camera if crap i barely take 2 selfies a week.
I loved the Note 4, but after having the Note8 for 13 days, I'm thinking I might swap it for the v30. Some things with the note8 just bug me. It's heavy, the headphone jack is on the bottom (stupid), I can't turn off all the Bixby features, and music with either wired or Bluetooth headset sounds muffled. Really wanted to like the Note8, but just not feeling it.
I currently have both phones. But find my self using the LG v30 more. I prefer the size and shape of the LG v30 but wish it was a little bit heavier. I also which the didn't do the home button and fingerprint sensors in together on the back as I don't like how loud the click is and sounds really hollow. So hopefully they change it up next year to a back more like Samsung or huwaies mate 10. I like the note 8 gray phone but it comes down to the big issue of lag, regardless of if your a fan buy or no it's there and a issue. Whole it has improved over the years it's still not great. I find the biggest issue in social media like Facebook book, while scrolling I find it stutters alot like Facebook book is struggling to keep up. As for camera I prefer wide angle I think if companies do duel cameras that should be the set up, but both cameras shoot great. the note 8 is my first note phone I normally stick with the s series but that's because in the UK we haven't had a note since the note 4 as we didn't get the note 5 then the issue with the 7. The biggest reason for the note is the s pen which I do and don't like, I really like the feature of it but don't like the pen it's self. It feel fairly cheap and a little hard to hold so don't find using it that much. I gonna see how it is but might end up swapping it out for the s9 plus when it's released.
So I went into to T-Mobile with the sole purpose of getting a V30 because it’s normally cheaper than the Note 8 but they had a sale for the Note so I ultimately went with it. Although I love the Note 8 so far I still think the V30 is amazing.
LG V20 (not V30) is a wiser purchase.
- REMOVABLE battery (lasts all day+ for me with heavy use)
- IR support
- SDCARD support
Better audio recording = better video...everytime. That alone makes the V20 (or V30) a better buy.
Until these factors are included, the V20 betters almost every other phone out there (and many to come).
Note 8 for the win. Infinity display, edge screen, s pen...everything else is just a bonus. Anybody that says V30, just cant afford a Note 8, or they already own the V30. If you actually owned the Note 8 you'd be saying Note 8 without a doubt. Coming from somebody that has used both...
No comparison of course. Because they are designed diffeently. For reviewers they always feel even techie. Its all the same even way before. Its like in the automotive industry wherein yearly automobile releases are just so fast.
Both awesome phones honestly the lg v30 is my preference so very the lag on Android literally is not visible at all , overall o like the heft and feel of the note 8 though, other than that I prefer on the v30 100% Both these phones are MONSTERS
1. It's cheaper than that $985 note 8
2. It has a 10 bit image sensor
3. It has 16 mp and 13 mp
4. It's smaller than the big display
5. It's light weight
6. The finger print sensor is on a center of the phone
7. You get more options on Audio/Camera, vids
8. You got 3 microphones on the V30 for example: Your at a concert and you want to collect the sound from the band... That earpiece turns into a microphone.
Samsung hasn't innovated anything . Their phones are way over priced . Lg is fair on its price and they did a great job with the V30. I had owned LG G2 up to the G6 . I will probably buy that V30 . Once I put my aux wire in that phone , the music will sound nice in my car
For apple customer it's unbelivable how Android devices van have both the BlueTooth and HeadphoneJack at the same time. This is insane XD imagine if iphone have this... oh wait, they did, and then removed it moving the price tag higher XD
I never throught i'll say that ........v30 is better😣i can't bellive samsung😵I'm watching this on s8 wich i bought 4 days ago and i feel so stupid because i didn't buy v30...omg i can't bellive i said that😣
To make the Youtube vids fullscreen in Landscape orientation you simply use two fingers on the screen to enlarge it and it immediately snaps to fit to the whole screen. You can also pinch to get it back to the default view. To get the nav buttons back you swipe from right to left from the right side and bingo
He didn't mention the Gorgeous aethestic of the Edge Displkay that outs the LG V30 to shame. As for the rear aesthetic, I have the orchid gray Note 8, and the tall candy bar design is flawless. I love this phone, it's by far the best phone I've ever owned.
Two good phones but I decided to buy the LG V30 because of the QUAD DAK sound and quality of the videos you can take. So far I love the V30 and have not had any issues at all, LG got it right this time.
Both high end phones and I guess it depends on your usage. The Note 8 is best for me as I love the Gear VR compatibility and I use the S-Pen a lot. It takes amazing photo's so the V30 for me doesn't offer enough for me to consider it.
I'm always one for the underdog so I think I'm going to go for the LG. I'm also appreciative of the fact they are making it a point to include high quality audio and video features in a smartphone - something that I have always found severely lacking. I currently have a Note 4 and have had zero complaints but I think I want to try something new. I appreciate the very well-done video!
Still Rocking my LG V10 for all most two years now. Still working perfect to this day great battery life still still fast and responsive. I am looking forward to upgrading my LG V10 to the V30 maybe after xmas. the only thing i dont like about the v30 is no removable battery and no dual speakers that would have been awesome.
