Well, i got my huawei jewel watch yesterday. Loved it untill it did the update for android wear 2.. i liked the full image screen on notifications and i hate those little ones on the new update. The phone calls looks different also.. i think it sucks. I wish they could give us the option to choose if we want full screen pics or small ones on top..
0:40 what happened to the colored backgrounds for notification cards ? just got a wear 2.0 watch and the cards are all grey unless I tap on them to expand them. scrolling through grey cards is boring. liked the colored ones.. did they get rid of the colors?
Idk why there are so many negative reviews. But I'm so glad you reviewed this on the lady huawei watch since I have the same one. I was a little hesitant about updating to 2.0 but your review was actually the most thorough that I've watched. So I'm gonna charge up my watch and update asap!
The only reason I bought the Smart watch in the first place is because when I'm riding my bike, I wanna know who's calling and to answer if I want to. But after the Android Wear 2.0 update I'm unable to update, at least I can't do that anymore. I can ignore the call or give busy notification. But I didn't find the busy notification with SMS reply and/or answer option. Would you please tell us how to do that? What is the use of a Smart Watch if it isn't smart enough to answer a call???
Ah yes sorry your correct. Just gave it a quick read and it appears it's because the processor won't be able to run the new features and what not. But if your watch works well it's really no big deal, but if you are in need of a new one, I've been using the Huawei watch with black leather and it's been amazing so far (compatible with 2.0 btw lol)
Vallentin Lövström Wadell there's a way to download the developers preview and once 2.0 is officially released you can just sideload it to your watch...there's plenty of videos on YouTube on how to do so.
I just bought huawei smartwatch. It is still running on android wear 1.3. I can't make call directly on it. I don't find most of the app that are shown here. I can't even play music through it. What should I do?
Yes it will get it. I just ordered one used in mint condition for 80.00 bucks and the only site to confirm it is the LG latin site that says its running android wear 2.0 but it will be getting it for sure, according to many other sources
Just watched a WatchOS 3 Beta hands on and then this video, to see how the latest versions compare. The Android version looks like designed by a 5 year old and kind of primitive compared to the watchOS. It certainly lacks the luster of the competitive platform.
I think the background colour would look better black instead of grey. It'd be nice if we could at least change the colour because I really don't like that grey... just makes the display look washed out, which the Huawei Watch definitely isn't.
This is beautiful. However, I own an LG G Watch (Caught for $50 shipped) and don't expect to see much of this. Or what I do see will be limited as there's no Wifi. Perhaps it'll prompt me to look harder for better deals on round wear watches.
Good Ideas but it would also be very good if there would be the ability to decide which feature you want to keep as in the old version and which feature you want to change to the new version.
For an example I personally think that the way the notifications where shown before was a lot better as in this version, but the new kind of keyboard is a lot better as in the old version.
