Self driving is straight from hell, the devil made Teslas and Mercedes....es.... I don't know how to write that lol. I think I'm the biggest Tesla fan in the world, and I will 100% trust a self driving car. It's like trusting your life on that team (probably hundreds of people) who make the autopilot software. I probably would wait 4-5 years till I get a license and those autonomous softwares are out of beta though😉
THE TRICK....ALL SELF DRIVE CARS....WILL COST YOU....( $100,000.00 THOUSAND DOLLARS AND UP )....THEY WILL SELL LOWER END MODELS....( WITHOUT THE SELF DRIVE FEATURE IN IT )....FORCING YOU....( TO UPGRADE TO THE ).... $100,000.00 THOUSAND MODEL SELF DRIVE CAR....ONLY 2 MODELS OF CARS WILL BE SOLD IN THE FUTURE....( 1 MODEL CAR HAS THE SELF DRIVE )....( 1 MODEL CAR DO NOT HAVE THE SELF DRIVE )
Lame that you have to check in to the steering wheel every 10 seconds! And it missed roads, i wouldnt trust it until its lvl 5 where there is no steering wheel and it just works. Few years down the road.
I WOULD NOT TRUST IT!
The thing about self driving cars is that they test and present them in towns and roads that have: clear lanes painted, not to complicated roads/geography (incline then a half right turn on a cross road for example).
Most cities in Europe at least are NOT FOR THIS!
The streets & cross roads are not at almost 90degree angles (due to old city road infrastructure), the lanes are mostly badly painted, bad roads (potholes)... no chance that this or any other car will work here.
I definitely would not be comfortable in a new "tech" car by a company know for comfort based on an engine and gasoline and polluting, old, traditions. I would be more trusting in Tesla because Elon Musk has publicized all the safety stuff enough via credible resources. Long answer short: Mercedes is really wholly luxury while Tesla is techy, innovative, and safety. Luxury in a Tesla is just an overly and properly emphasized fringe benefit.
Nah No No No In about 6 months I can get my learners Permit and when I get it I don't want so fucking auto Pilot driving for me I want to learn to drive and I want to drive myself not let a computer drive for me xD
I wouldn't buy this car and trust it straight away, i would rather go for a company with experience in those things. And i also don't like that you have to place your hand on that sensor thing like every 10 seconds -_-
Tesla's Autopilot does use GPS data + machine learning using the cloud via always-on mobile Internet connection. It can improve day by day.
"The whole Tesla fleet operates as a network. When one car learns something, they all learn it. That is beyond what other car companies are doing," said Musk.
I still need self-driving cars to be more real world safe. It is one thing to drive in an area with moderate climate changes than in a high wind area with blowing snow and ice on the roads. I am also concerned with the sensors not being able to identify unconventional vehicle heights with the limited areas on low profile cars for placing sensors. Until I think it is safe for driving in rural America, I will stick with my conventional vehicle.
the thing is, that big car companies like audi, Mercedes, vw you name it.. cannot bring a car on the street that doesn't work.. they are ao afraid to lose their reputation that they seem paralyzed even they do have all of those concept cars and auper mega features for years now.. small companies do not have thia kind of pressure.. just wanted to mention this
