We all Xiaomi's budget smartphones but of late, the Chinese giant has launched a number of new budget smartphones. There's been the Redmi Y2, Redmi Y1, Redmi Y1 Lite, Redmi Note 5, Redmi 5 and a lot more. Plus, Xiaomi has launched the Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A in China, which should come to India soon. With so many Xiaomi smartphones in the same price range, all of these phones are now competing with each other, which is very confusing.

hello Rupesh! I'm really confused. I've to buy a new device within 20k. But should i wait till mid july for something better or go with redmi not 5 pro? please suggest something. Also, suggest if there's anything better than redmi note 5 pro and whether the mi 6x will launch by july.
LOL....this review paiding by Xiaomi....Because Xiaomi device quality very worst and durability not good...Xiaomi's major problem global rom very buggy and facing many more problems, but why developer team does not fixing global software problems, have any idea???
The sad part is that we cannot buy either one of them because it isn't available easily..I think only in India that these companies trying to play game with their customer because they think we are idiot..
Looks like Redmi are giving a lot of choices to the buyers so that they can buy a phone based on their needs, and all of them being in the same cost bracket.
Now, for example if I'm someone who likes clicking photos and posting on Instagram, I'll buy a Y2.
On the other hand, If I'm not concerned about the camera quality but need more of a battery support so that my phone lasts longer during my work, I'll take a note 5. Both being in the same price range. Seems cool.
It is not the confusion, I think it is the availability of options to the users in the same cost bracket.
Was thinking of getting the Mi8Explorer but the non-availability and weird sales strategy of xiaomi(even if it get's launched here).I went ahead and got the s9+. Maybe i'll do the "transparent mod" by myself like JerryRigEverything.
Well, that's easy. Xiaomi customers who buy a phone under $ 250 are not interested in the specifications a bit too much. It's important to them that it is not MediaTech and everything else they are not interested in because they do not want Asus Rog than A phone that is inexpensive, reliable, that is solidly made and used for social network calls and lesser games. Nice greeting from the Balkan peninsula
sadly enough sense and numbers matter more in an enterprise, none of the things pointed out here make sense to shift their indian interest from budget phones, they sell in huge numbers n manage to bring flagship specifications in budget..they have invented and proven the market in that segment SO WHY risk it by entering flagship segment what if it backfires ending up with disappointed customers because lets be honest flagship owners tend to be very picky n critical also vocal they expect groundbreaking innovations time after time...xiaomi's boat is sailing well enough!!
Xiaomi is busy uprooting all other established mid-range smartphones manufacturers from India. Xiaomi is trying to create monopoly in Indian market atlest for now.... Xiaomi has NO real love for Indian consumers (the largest in the world after its home country) Xiaomi is all about China and for China. Xiaomi is handing lollipops to Indians, perhaps we feel happy in it. the whole starter, main and desert is only for China.
Typing this message from xiaomi redmi 2 prime.
Xiaomi, I like you but, I dont love you. Working of Chinese diplomacy can be felt via xiaomi's actions.
I'm using Redmi note 3 for more
than two years and it's working
fine but now I have started to
hate Xiaomi phones for two
2.They just forget their old customers.
(Everyone knows Xiaomi didn't releases Android updates to their old mobile).
P.S. ~ I'll never buy a Xiaomi device in the future.
This is something similar to what Samsung done in the past or maybe still doing. Do anyone remember the wide variety phones from samsung, the S series , Note series , The y ,young , J series , etc...and even , in each of these series, included similar phone to the existing one with an addition of prefix or suffix in their name like pro, neo, plus , ........
I don't like any of these....
I like Apple in this case. They have only 2 smartphone series - the flagship series and mid range 'SE' series.
It is good to have very affordable smartphones in the market ,But not need the same phone from same company with same specs and price but with different names.... Please don't fool the people
Beebom team : Congrats again and I am really happy with your team BCOZ I though this a few days back that instead of phones that do confuse us by XIAOMI and how can a company release a bunch of phones in same price range with confusing specs!!? And Xiomi should launch and focus on few phones and make it better as RN5pro as well as launch flagship phones!! And congrats again for 1 million subscribers and Facebook fans
Hey beebom! I have subscribed you since 50k subs, congrats for 1M subs.
Could you please help me deciding which gaming pc should I buy (specifically for pubg):
msi gl62m7rex-1896us or Xrig-X1-02?
My budget is upto Rs. 85k.
Budget smartphones only are not exciting as there aplenty in the market, as mentioned in the video xiaomi has numerous products apart from mobile phones, for example : ultra short throw projector, they should be bringing such devices which are not available directly from xiaomi to Indian consumers!
