iPhone 8 Plus - 6 Months Later Experience! It is now 6 months since the launch of the Apple iPhone 8 Plus and in this video I share with you a users perspective of what it is like to use this phone over as long period of time! If your an iPhone 8 Plus user share your experience with the community and enjoy the video :)
This is my first iPhone ever. I upgraded from a LGV20 and I couldn’t be more happier. The battery life, quality of photos, better emojis lol, there’s just so much! This phone is beast and I’m never EVER going back to android lol.
Any comment on the wireless charging? Or if buying the quick charger is worth it or just buy an iPad charger? I would like the X for the new features but the battery life and home button are having me lean more towards the 8 Plus. Currently on the 6s Plus. I went back to Android and lasted about 2 weeks before I swapped the sim back in my old 6s Plus. But to be fair it was a cheap ZTE Blade Z max and not a high-end Galaxy. Anyway like you said, I heard the 8 Plus is just amazing on the battery life. I just recently had my 6s battery replaced at Apple and my phone feels like new. Their diagnostic test said my phone was charging to 80% capacity. I knew it was not like 2 years previous. Anyway keep up the nice work.
Jack Lee What happened? Did it just die suddenly (software?) or physically from damage?
I ask because my 4s died July 2016 after 4 years of usage, restarted itself but it doesn't go further on the Apple Logo before going off again.... and I'm looking to get the 8 Plus Silver 256GB version... currently I have a Galaxy Note 3.
From what I saw from videos on YT etc, definitely the 8 Plus. Yes it's more expesive BUT it's bigger and for me not an issue with the weight and apparently its performance, camera and battery life is significantly better.
Note: I do not own an iPhone atm. Had a 4s before it died 2 years ago... currently I have a Galaxy Note 3 but would like to buy the 256GB Silver 8 Plus.
I got my IPhone 8 Plus two weeks ago and upgraded from a iPhone 6s and it was totally worth it. From the bigger screen, bigger battery, glass design, capacitive home button which feels so real after your use to it, and many more things. It’s just an all around great phone and upgrade for me. Got the space gray which is beautiful. Love it and recommend this phone too every and anyone.
I’ve been enjoying your videos ever since I subscribed to your channel some time ago.
Very useful reviews of the products you use.
I would love to see you cover more on the Apple Watch too, as I could be getting one soon.
All the best, and keep going strong! :)
Fabian Niculae I really like the iphones consistency throughout the years compared to android/Samsung phones. That being said I know I'll miss all the advantages of android such as the movies/songs I usually download for free and the apps for free streaming of tv channels.
Rohit Sharma 7 plus and 8 plus is far more durable than the 6 plus that has touch disease from bending. I upgraded from 6 plus to 8 plus cuz my 6 plus touch ic chip is broken I repaired it many times the. after a week the touch disease is still going back
I love my 8plus. I think it’s the last phone they might use with Touch ID. I won’t buy the X or any other option of it until that ugly eyebrow thing on top is gone and unlocking into robes tremendously. I’ll keep my 8 plus for like 3 years lol
Despite it having a glass back the phone design just looks and feels so outdated. I skipped the 8 that very reason and am waiting for the release of a bigger version of the iPhone X later this year instead
Hey nick 💓I need help it’s my first phone I can’t choose between iPhone 7plus 128gb or iPhone 8 64gb I know big screen is better but I afraid of slowing down and it’s my first phone as I said 💓💓thank you so much
If that two was your only option and if you need more storage go for iPhone 7 Plus and if you use less storage that 64 GB is okay go for iPhone 8 Plus. It was better than iPhone 7 Plus. If you are not highly in this two option I would like you to suggest you that go for One Plus 5T (8GB-128GB).
Shawn Stuckey Samsung needs 6gb as all the bloat and background rubbish takes over 3gb which is seriously bad. Android is bloated as we can see as even the Pixel 2 with 4gb struggles and that is a cut down Android experience. Apple has algorithms that reduce the size of data when on hold in RAM so 3gb on an iPhone is close to 6gb on ANDROID. 6GB on iOS is overkill though with AI taking off this may change. Thankfully Samsung has added RAM to the camera module so that it doesn’t effect the 6gb of RAM when doing intensive video and photo stuff, that was well done. The s8 plus should have been what the s9 plus is, but Samsung under powered the s8 so the Note looked a little bit better. So Samsung is a year behind. I expect in 2018 other OEMs to default to 8gb RAM and 256gb internal storage and mature three rear cameras. Samsung use to lead, they now follow, even though they do it really well, that should not be the case especially as the s9 plus is at least 33% more expensive as some great flagships .
abdelhadi EN Yes you like many will not need as much ram, just like you don't need bigger batteries. Why? Not because of ios or chip efficiency, but because you simply don't run, don't have, and are LIMITED to fewer things you can do. DUH.....At least you will now have some freedom on your power and battery management. I say some, because that is also limited. I don't blame Apple though. Hell why put more of anything if they can save money by limiting and restricting if people keep buying it. I would think the same way. So, there for, Apple Has no need to invest and dedicate to the future of advancement. This partly explains how Apple has slipped years behind in tech advancement, thanks to the loyal sheep. Keep buying that shiny apple and be happy with what you get, not what you want..😔
