I don't know why HTC ISN'T GETTING LOVE , AS FAR AS I KNOW HTC IS THE WINNER WATCH HTC VS IPHONE X OR! VS GALAXY AND SEE FOR YOURSELF WHOS THE WINNER! STEVE JOBS died
WITH HiS GREAT WORK sadly, anyway nowadays IPHONE CHARGES ALOT BUT DONT GIVE YOU ALOT
But in my personal opinion and preference, the HTC u11 is the best this year. Sleek, Stunning and sensational to look at and use. Honestly, I've never used a phone as fast as that. Puts the One Plus 5, Samsung Galaxy S8 AND iPhone to shame. I'm not making that up I can assure you. The new edge sense is being further and further updated and developed so who knows what this new unique feature will bring.
Sorry, I'd put the HTC in third place at least. The Keyone is good but the HTC is better in any way possible. I suppose if you're a blackberry fan then you'd disagree. And I'm sorry, the Samsung Galaxy s8 should be second and the LG first. The LG is cheaper, smoother and the best camera Ever on any phone.
Guys, i broke my S7 Edge (on the edge, huh the irony.) I'm looking for a new phone. I want (in order of importance): 1.speed 2.camera 3.overall feel. So far I'm looking on the 6s Plus, LG G6 and the Huawei Mate 9. I don't want the iPhone 7/7+ because of the lack of a headphone jack. I don't want the S8/S8+ because of the stupid edge thing. Anyone wanna share their thoughts?
I was really happy to see the BlackBerry KeyOne come in third on this list. I purchased the KeyOne and I have been loving this device. thank-you for your open mined intelligent and we'll thought out reviews and for helping the average cell phone consumer consider a KeyOne.
S8 clearly is the most futuristic & advanced phone, so it accurately deserves the top spot. It saddens me to read the emotionally disturbed fanboys senseless comments below. I dont see why anyone would be that emotionally attached to a phone brand anyway, to be that hurt when they watch a honest review & their brand is not the most favored, even when it honestly doesn't deserve to be. Ridiculous!
Futuristic and more advanced?
Let's justify this
-Design is elegant with minimal bezels, which no one really ever finds to be beneficial at using the phone.
-Screen is nice until about a few months and get some burn in or lower brightness values. Oh and the mediocre Diamond PenTile pixel arrangement.
-Iris Scanner is nothing but nonsense. It takes a proper way to use and takes longer time to scan. It is more secure, but it's not like Fingerprint Scanner isn't really secure either, and where was that thing placed on the device again?
-Camera is good but nothing too advanced. It can't even do 960fps Slow Motion or unlimited 4K video recording, which everyone will always consider as "advanced"
-Battery is solid but is nothing surprising. A 4K HDR IPS LCD screen is just 12 hours lower in Endurance, just imagine it with 1080p AMOLED screen.
-Performance, in simple words, is garbage for a supposedly 2017 high end flagship phone.
And I'm not here to criticize, but just to spread what's true.
It's okay though that you admit that you're just a typical Samsung fanboy who sucks everything that your brand makes, but the point is that everything you said is invalid, just by how I proved it to you.
Sorry I don't agree ! I have the S8 Plus and I will replace it by the HTC U11 6GB/128GB next week. The android system is not as fast as the U11. I hate the S8+ fingerprint scanner, the edge screen is useless, the jack audio quality is just good, not enough for me. I have to use the S8+ in Full HD+ for better battery life.
The U11 has everything to be the best smartphone of 2017 :
+ Incredible camera
+ Very fast
+ Stereo speaker
+ Very responsive fingerprint scanner on the front
+ Awesome audio quality
+ better update support
+ softkeys on the bottom and not on the screen
Sorry but in my opinion, the U11 is the best of 2017 !
This list is funny. 2017 is for sure the year of stretched screens with content that's not made to fit. these screens are getting more credit than they deserve. channels like these review phones, put them on a list like this and then in 6-8 months, when your s8 lag is beyond annoying and you can't get an update on you blackberry or LG G6, people will wish they had a OnePlus5 or a HTC U11.
I am glad the new pixel is rumored to have edge sense, it's a great feature and it's better that an actual button.
I had no problem with all of the phones except for Samsung. it's the one phone all reviewers will admit is laggy yet still they continue to sing the highest praise for. Makes no sense. Looks the best but performs the worst. Great job guys.
