As the government now turns its attention to the violent clashes in Laikipia County, other intrigues about the potential reasons behind the conflict are beginning to emerge including the relationship between the ranchers and local pastoralist communities. However, the situation is threatening to get out of hand and spiral into a 'Zimbabwe-like' scenario. Will Kenya avoid this fate? Debarl Inea speaks to NLC commissioner Abdulkadir Aden Khalif, Collins Wanderi, Dr Mustafa Ali, Dr Apollos Machira and Professor Noah Midamba.

Apollo macharia is so shallow, how comes he is saying every march at height of drought is when conflicts escalates,on the other hand he is saying opposition bla bla,..illetrate shallow learned fellow...so confused..let's solve the underlying problem that keep recurring this conlict.I wonder what kind of an article he is doing on the conflict when he blatantly seem to have no glue or at pains to give a clear state and cause of this perennial problem so
disappointed with people like Apollo's.
Dr. Apollos Macharia line of argument is always shallow, biased, and inept; typical of "uthamaki" mentality. He always blames the "opposition" or Laila in all issues that faces Kenya. He should borrow a leaf from Captain Wanderi, he always tables fact backed by figures or historical data. It is not a doubt that he prepares for these discussions not like Dr. Apollos who always bubbles hearsay
