auswin bertin For the Price there are so many better options. Let's face it! Lenovo was great under IBM. But after the Chinese took over. You can see the difference in both quality and professionalism.
In other words, don't believe anything they tell us.
All those claims referred to the Z5, no doubt about that.
It smacks of desperation.
It may well be the Chinese way, but anybody who buys this phone whilst disregarding the lies they spun deserves what they get.
People aren't stupid.
Just tell us the truth, Lenovo.
Or do you fear remaining irrelevant?
Well, now you're relevant but for all the wrong reasons.
Shame, really. It's still a good phone at a great price, but I wouldn't be caught dead owning one now.
And that carries over to Motorola.
See what you've done?
Lenovo:"hey,can I copy your homework?"
Apple:"sure! But just make it different so the teacher can't suspect anything"
It's literally a iPhone X ripoff, and they didn't even bother to make it just a little different. Sure,it can be a great phone and have qualities but the design is literally the same as the iPhone X.
What happened to creating buzz with good truthful features? And not false ones? They don't get a pass for saying it was only to create buzz. Just make a good phone at a good price, that's how you sell phones, and gain fans. Not by lying
Can executives learn? Yes you can get people to buy your product with good marketing scheme, but they keep on buying your products if you have good service and reliable products. Lenovo stayed at the bottom of the market because people are not satisfied with their products. Sure you can bump up your sales for 1 million or 2 with these kind of schemes, but in the long run, those who bought their products would be really sceptic of the product and more likely to inform other people to stay out of lenovo products if the product fails. Prob pays off in the short run, but its going to fold their business in the long run if they are not commited to service.
When a company blatantly lies to you, attempts to deceive you, the way Lenovo did how can you trust them for anything, can you trust them for updates, can you trust them for vital security patches, can you trust them when they tell you it's going to be a particular price or where specifications are concerned obviously not no matter how much of a "marketing ploy" it may be as far as I'm concerned it destroys your credibility but they may not be concerned about credibility or integrity. And who knows there may be a lot of people with that same way of thinking.
You need to write the truth , you need to inform your viewers that Lenovo LIED to them and cannot be trusted with the phone, the phone might be completely borked and then laugh any claims for service or warranty.
come on.. whoever fall for that 45days battery life must be dumb.. larger screen = more power drain.. not to mention its still using lithium polymer/ion battery. even if lenovo were to slap in dual battery pack wouldnt achieve that 45day battery life..unless they are using graphene battery but we wouldnt be seeing that in another 1-2 yrs or maybe much later.
I own the Z2, the phone with top tier specs (2016, SD 820/4GB LPDDR4) and shit-tier software. This was OK, as I knew this would be the darling of the custom ROM community. Sure enough, xda is brimming with great custom ROMs. I'm using AEX 5.5 (8.1.0, modified lineageOS kernel, treble support, with all the vendor optimisations). This is a $200 phone that will last me for 5 years or more.
Buzz? Is that your new word for lie??!! This is scam and you shouldn’t be supporting it trying to be cool presenting this video. You should be angry and bash Lenovo for this bullshit! One shouldn’t take claims with skepticism, these kind of claims should be punished as false advertising and Lenovo should be sued.
when iphone x launched everyone complained against apple notch and many companies said about apple notch, said " apple notch is a joke notch is not suitable for phone and bla... bla.. but now the days every phone company copy apple notch so that's incident proves that apple is the best and they always make best choice. it is true 100% guaranteed.
If only the OS was as great as Oxygen OS of OnePlus... I would've considered getting one. But no. I really have no beef about their marketing strategy. Because at the end of the day, it is what it is. We were just players who tried to solve the riddle and failed.
*Any Publicity is Good Publicity*
yeah keep on with that attitude *Lienovo*
because of this feat I will reevaluate the entirety of my life choices 10 times harder before even considering any Lenovo or Motorola products again.
Pity tho, Motorola have had good lines of innovative, thought provoking modular phones recently.
sure helped with the stereotypical saying that chin... are a bunch of *scammers!*
Answer is simple, never buy anything by Lenovo again. They are liars, the end. If they can lie about the specs and design, who knows what else they would lie about. They might even have fake stuff in their products as well, who knows.
This shows just how bad their company is. If you can't even be a little truthful about your new products, then your reputation is questionable. Regardless of whether you are a huge company or not. Being a small company does not mean you can just outright lie to the public.
If we tolerate this, then in the future we are only going to have more and more fake advertisements. We have to stop this now, while we still can.
I think everything except the teaser design was fine. When people take everything at surface value and make articles with titles such as "Potential 4TB storage coming to Z5" when in reality they should be making titles like "Lenovo bringing new products with 4TB capacity". The media themselves forged the illusion and now are balming Lenovo for it. Just being ambiguous with your potential launches is nothing fishy, it's been done before.
