It's bizzare.. Here in UK, you can get a OnePlus 6 for HALF THE PRICE of an iPhone X! Even if OP6 is only comparable to iPhone X, they already won in terms of price to performance.
Sent from my new OP6 :)
You know what, one plus put a lot of money on the internet, I can tell you that one plus is not that famous in Chinese, they get a lot "water army". Which means they pay people money to write comments for them.
Damn that domination tho. Also display on OnePlus is outstanding look at that white quality. Its completely on par with iPhone X. White is perfectly white. Pixel density at this point is not important, both are very sharp and you can't notice difference anyway unless you are looking under magnifier.
Anyone here super rich who is kind enough to giveaway an iphone 8 plus? Cause in my country the 64gb variant is priced at 1100$. And I'm using an 150$ phone from samsung for the last 2 yrs and its it got super lags😑
It seems like part of the success after a point with the iPhone X is that it dumps part of what was left in the memory to free up space for more current apps while the One Plus 6 kept every app in the same spot you left it. Otherwise if the OnePlus 6 did the same thing with reloading apps further back in memory then it could have potentially kept up with the iPhone X for the entire test.
Hmmm...i don't know. The Iphone X was waaaaaaaay too slow for being a flagship phone. My phone with 3GB of RAM is way faster, yet it's not even close to being a top device. I also noticed that the iphone X started to get faster when the RAM in it was freed, so yeah. Either the iphone is bottlenecking, or the one plus 6 is simply better at RAM management. Though, considering that phones like XZ premium were faster compared to one plus 5 in the previous generation despite having more RAM, i am more on the iphone X bottlenecking. It was simply way too slow for being a flagship phone.
I never liked the iPhone 10, that's why I got the iPhone 8 Plus. I know they're practically the same phone but I still like the larger screen bc the ip10 seems like it's just another iPhone 7 or 8 but in a different shell. I will never go to use an android device no matter what. I love iphone's and my opinion will never change. On an iPhone, you never hear about it being hacked or any type of security breach but you hear it all the time with android devices. Plus, nothing bad has ever happened with the iPhone. Unlike Samsung that burst into flames and had multiple issues and you never see that on the iPhone's. EVER!
Your speed tests are very good and accurate.
TechBuff's speed tests aren't so accurate because he opens an app and then continues opening other apps without waiting for the slower phone to open it's app.
Well iph X do have different specs with OP6, such as the RAM. Iph X have a better processor, but OP 6 have a better RAM size, so that is a win-win. For gaming, I think there's game that was made specially of iOS devices and some for android, so the way the device handle the same game isn't always the same. For an over all I'll definitely go with iPh X, it has the tech. But if looking per aspec and cheaper price, I'll definitely go with OP6.
It's Apple optimization that closes late background apps and load new apps faster. Whereas oneplus keeps all the apps open in the background, that's why it slows when opening new apps..
(Sorry for bad English).
I'm more annoyed with the seemingly bad ports of some of the games. RealSteal seems to just be a repackaged game within an Android wrapper and not natively developed for the platform. It's concerning that we are still experiencing this on Android. 😕
