I am amazed how much u can talk about just phone. Let me summarize this for u. Its a galaxy phone it will slow down next month and in 6 months updates will be stopped for it as s8 will be coming out in 3 months.
To many, it's considered a disadvantage that the iPhone unlocks quickly upon recognition. And I agree. Sometimes people just want to check the time, missed calls, notifications or take a quick photo via shortcut. All that without unlocking.
+Jassari96 See, you got this all wrong. I HATE Iphones, with a passion. Or more specifically IOS. Stop making assumptions mate, and admit it that Apple have got the FP sensor right. Or even OnePlus.
Btw, news flash- I don't own an Iphone. I just see things objectively.
In the USA, the Galaxy S7 has the Snapdragon 820, just like the G5 (but with better thermal management, thanks to liquid cooling).
In the rest of the world, the Exynos version has a GPU that is about as powerful as the one of the Snapdragon 820 (or maybe 5-10% less powerful in benchmarks, it depends on the benchmark), but a CPU that is about 20% more powerful, with a better optimization (just as always, with Exynos-equipped devices from Samsung).
Moreover, Adreno GPUs can't keep their maximum frequency for a very long time, unlike Mali GPUs, most of the time.
You can expect both versions of the S7 to be more powerful than the G5, anyway.
the question was does it skip the lock screen ,so i answers the question directly , and no it does not ,it flashes quickly then unlocks ,maybe about a full second to full unlock from holding down the button
+Garret141076 Yes yes, but the GPU is WAY better! CPU definiteley goes to Exynos, but the GPU is not just "a little bit" on the Snappy its about 30% better beating the A9 of Apple!!! Thats a way to high difference!!
I think S7 could be in lead due to the always on display... Try the test again with Always on off (see what I did there😜) S7 would still win but they might be very close now!!!! Not criticising but I just want you to try that...
+Salem TheAverageGuy It should work that way, the iphones scanner scans your finger right away thus making lockscreen notifs imposible to see (unless you put the wrong finger or the wake/sleep button). The S7's scanner is just as fast without requiring a wrong finger to actually see your notifications. It is better on samsungs.
+Milo9Sykr the iphone's finger print scanner activates before the screen is on but the samsung's activate when the screen is on. thats what i observed from this video
its not faster or something, but the iphone finger print scanner activates before the screen and the opposite on the samsung
nice video bro :) i have a question for you hope you will reply i am low on budget and planning to buy new device so please suggest me which one is good Samsung s6 edge or iphone 6 32 gb.... or iphone 6s 16 gb
