I hate Samsung software, I just cannot stand the icons, confusing interface & omg the unwanted apps that cannot be uninstalled. I really don’t know why Samsung still cannot provide a clean simple Android experience.
Gimme a smartphone with the pixel 2 software the samsung screen and the lg hardware ! and if it has bezzels than atleast gimme speakers like on the razer phone... maaan I really want to fusion the lg v30 and the google pixel 2..
Yes indeed Note 8 is the best phone of century I had it for 5 days and I returned it simply because I can't live without the Photo Face tag and Quick contact short cut of my 3 years old Galaxy S5. Sorry Samsung. I dropped S7, S8 and Note 8 to go back to my good old S5. if S9 has those features I'll buy one even if it cost me $1,000
What about best resolution? And the Sony XZP is the only one with a 4k display.
And if you enable and use the magnification gesture then it is real easy to see just how clear 4k is.
As for the Notes. Heck the old WM6 phones can still do things the Notes can't.
hey! im ready for an upgrade from an old iphone. i want a change, but the iphone x looks amazing. im torn between the iphone x and the note 8. if i choose the note 8 and dont use the s-pen, will it still be worth it? or should i just get the iphone x?
thanks and have a blessed day
I hear you, I have a 6s as my daily driver and Moto G5 plus as my back up... Honestly, it all depends on you and if you’re willing to wait. The A8 & A8+ (2018) will be launched soon. S9/S9 plus is right around the corner...I would wait for the S9 series and go into Best Buy and test IPhone X and Samsung phones. Hopefully this helps you. Good luck on whatever you decide to purchase🍀😃
470 different made this year and probably most years for 10 + years and still no one worth buying yet :( . 10 day battery life please that was a industry standard and my monies is waiting . . . still for you . Amazon kindle 6 weeks battery life with 6 " screen ;)
I've owned a fair few smartphone this year I just can't hold one down for more than a month or two . I keep buying and selling ' playing the field' .
Currently on the pixel XL 2 - I don't see all the complaints about the display . Likewise it's not amazing like you all keep banging on about
I really want to know why people chose the Note 8 over the Google Pixel 2 / 2XL? I see so many rave reviews about it, and a lot of people use it as there daily driver. However the Note 8 is called the smartphone of the year, but never heard any solid reasons as to why. I want to know because soon I want to get either the Pixel 2 XL or the Note 8.
I screwed up. I picked up a Pixel 2 and used it for a bit. Once you use one, you notice every stutter and hic-up on every other smartphone that exists (except maybe the Razer phone). I can't make an unbiased pick on a phone of the year unfortunately.
I’ve been watching all these videos for the last 3 or 4 months trying to figure out what phone I should get into to next. I’ve had an iPhone since the 3. I’m now at the 6. I’m not a fan of anyone. Every time I got a new phone I’ve looked into the androids but the software issues always led me to the iPhone. Instead of listening to what others were saying I decided this time to try it myself. A couple of weeks ago I went out and bought the galaxy A5 2017 edition to experience the android software myself with I need a phone for. I’m not sure how much of a difference there is between the A5 and the Note8 or S8 plus but this phone sucks and it’s going back. I’m constantly pushing the back button, the apps open slower than my iPhone 6, I’m constantly touching the screen on the sides which takes me somewhere else ( maybe that could be fixed by using a case), I really would like to get the Note8 but I don’t want to spend the $1300 here in Canada and hate it. I like the X but I want a bigger phone and I’m bored with anything less than the x because they all look the same. So if anyone has used the A5 and now has a Note8 please chime in because I don’t want to stay with Apple.
Nick Timianis, if you don’t plan on using Spen then can you wait on S9 plus or A8+ (2018)? I understand you don’t want to spend $1,000+ on a phone yet you want a big display. Please research the S9+ and A8+ (2018) before making any decisions. I hope this helps. Good luck 🍀 with your purchase. Note 8 is a great devise, I’ve seen it in person and it performs well but keep your options open. As a consumer, you should get the most bang for your buck!
Jamie S I agree about everything you said but I think Samsung would be find with out ff stereo speakers yes it would sound better but it would have thicker bezels so they could probably put a small speaker in the ear piece so it could in-prove the sound a little bit and it would not take a lot of space so they could do that but it was just a idea.
note 8, a all in one multi-tasking powerhouse that replaces a lot of things on the go
iphone 10 is just another piece of the apple puzzle that really can't function alone
pixels...google's trying to be apple too hard
1+5t...now if they can get more carriers to support their phone
Yes, it’s crazy,...I paid $750 for my iPhone 6s over a year and half time period....I’m not going to drop $1,000 on a phone. There’s so many options to choose from. If my 6s dies, My Moto G5 plus has me covered. Shout out to the budget phones, BLU Vivo 8, Xiaomi Mi A1, Honor 6x/7x, Redmi Note 4, Moto e4, Moto g series, Samsung a3, Nokia 6, etc
well, if you're just buying a "mobile device" to be used as a phone, you shouldn't be looking into $1000 mobile devices, there are sub $100 devices with displays on them that can easily phone/text. Other than that $1000 better mean the device can do much more than just phone and text without needing other proprietary equipment/software
