The OnePlus 5 sees the upstart smartphone maker raise the price of its product yet again, but it's hard to say they haven't delivered. The OnePlus 5 is a great phone, full stop - and it's an outstanding value. Find out why in our video review.

I hope this may help you
If you're a student on a budget, this phone is definitely for you. It's very affordable compared to other flagship phones and even beats most flagship phones in some areas. It's fast, reliable, somewhat water resistant, has a decent camera, charges fast for daily use, and can multi task like a beast.
A 1080p display in this era is considered archaic. I mean for the price sure but I'd rather spend a couple hundred extra for the v30 fuck that thing fucking big top and bottom bezels old display I'll pass
Just received my OP5 (8/128) today. Such a nice phone in the hand, obviously no quibbles about its (blazingly fast) performance. Can see a bit of jelly scrolling but doesn't bother me. And I honestly prefer EIS to OIS for video, because OIS stbilization can give some weird artefacts that you can't remove in post. Ordered a gimbal for video, will be looking forward to the combination. I will say that OIS beats EIS hands down for stills, and the OP5 isn't the best night shooter, but for low light situations, I have my system camera; it's not an area smartphones are strong at (yet).
How about if you could buy it even cheaper? Hehehe bought mine for $399 just 2 days ago, 6/64.
For $399 im getting:
Best cpu/gpu on the market (excluding iphone)
Best ram amount in the market
Best fast charge in the market
Best fingerprint in the market
Best online community with lots of roms, kernels, people to help etc
Best gorilla glass
Best software updates
Why pay more?
It's unbeatable at this price, best android phone for the price and then some!
The phone in this video review had a slight, but noticeable jelly effect when the reviewer was scrolling through pages. I can't buy this phone until I can get some sort of confirmation (not just word of mouth), that the "effect" is no longer prevalent on newer handsets, because after doing some research, I found that this effect is most likely because of the display being mounted upside down on the phone, causing the bottom of the display to update before the top of the display, which is a hardware issue rather than a fixable software issue.
When the Oneplus 1 and 2 came out every reviewer compared it to expensive phones, even though it was a lot cheaper
Now everyone is talking about the Oneplus 5 like it is cheap phone even though its not really, considering i can get an lg g6 for less, or a galaxy s8 for 40 bucks more WTF
The oneplus 1 and 2, were a lot more similar to expensive phones of their time and were cheaper, the oneplus 5 lacks a lot more features and costs just a bit less then the expenive phones
Why should anyone buy the 8gb version when i can get a galaxy s8 for 40 bucks more
I have been using it for past 6 days. And I have to say I love it. I had OnePlus 2 before this and that guy was just a good heater for me during winters. it wasn't bad. it just had bad fate. from the processor to no updates. I was kinda meh first about buying the 5 but I don't regret it at all. camera isn't really a big deal to me since I use dslr for most of my projects but the dual camera is still nice to have. Best thing about this is performance. no fucking lag at all. I mean it's nice to use a phone which doesn't lag at all and even Snapchat opens on this phone quickly 😂😂. but over all. I got to say. this is an amazing phone in the price range.
People call it a iPhone look a like...like its a bad thing!?! I own the iPhone 7 plus and love the simply design, ease of use and fast hardware. One + is the only Android OEM that see the appeal of what Apple does. So congrats to One + on all their phones. I hope this phone sells super well!!! This coming from a Apple Sheep😀
How to prioritize camera features, presented by some guy with common sense. When choosing between OIS or adding a second camera, add OIS. OIS helps your low light photos just as much as that large aperture or sensor size. OIS also helps with video. OIS also helps when taking photos with third party apps (i.e. Snapchat). If you're phone relies on software processing to take good photos, then those enhancements disappear when you start using third party apps. OIS always works. So, there you go - your guide on how to not screw up a smartphone camera. But go ahead and zoomy zoomy on some flowers if that's what you're into.
