Hallo und herzlich Willkommen, liebe YouTube Community! Auf meinem Kanal findet ihr fast täglich neue Videos rund um das Thema Android :) Schaut doch mal vorbei, über konstruktive Kritik würde ich mich sehr freuen. Euer Thejannik196 😊
Next laptop/iPad Pro replacement for me! Will wait for the prices to drop but this design language google are embracing is stunning, like Apple when Jonny Ive cared about design. Attention to detail, beautiful materials and clean lines. Yes it’s a premium price but I hope they continue down this route for a long time to come!
Hi Josh, love your work. Was wondering if you happen to know, since it now support Android apps, can you download the android version of Gmail that has corporate MS exchange support on the new Chromebook Pixel. The lack of Exchange support on Chromebooks has been the deal breaker for me? Thank you in advance
I'll admit the Pixelbook is a beautiful, quality device but $999 is plainly stupid. For that kind of money, one can get a laptop/PC or a macbook air and do some useful stuff on it. Also, if it isn't possible to install other OS onto this then Google has gone crazy. Like anyone would want an i5, 16GB RAM to surf the web, take photos, watch videos...
It costs the same as the Galaxy Note 8 and iPhone X
Almost the same as the iPad Pro and can do pretty much the same, but with a better keyboard
It has good built quality, cool design, a really impressive stylus and it works with your pixel.
1,000 bucks is not cheap, but it´s totally fair. Stop bitching about it.
This is beautiful, snappy ect... but this still a media consuming device not a productivity device. That will never replace a PC or a Laptop. This is a tablet with a keyboard priced like an Apple device
I have no idea how Google thought this price would help it "break into the mainstream". At this price you could nearly get a Macbook, which promises to do more and last longer. I'm an Android fan through and through, but...this is ridiculous.
What do they need the Core i5 and i7 processors for, is chrome os that much of a performance hog? What else can you use the pixelbook for, other than some google productivity apps and android apps. Not seeing why it's so expensive, as we can get a windows 10 laptop for the same price point.
And download any apps on Google play( which a lot work offline), have these apps sync with your Android phone is useful, Microsoft offices have there own apps that can work offline. Super smooth operating, no bloat ware, best Linux laptop you can get if you are into that. Can do mostly anything you want on this laptop excluding gaming. Instant tethering with your pixel 2 phone if you don't have wifi.
A statement that this is just used to browse Google chrome is a load of bull
Diabl0pl I will install Linux on it. I'll have a Linux laptop and will write class notes with the stylus using the Android Bamboo app. Right now I have a laptop and a tab s3 to write notes. This is an all in one solution for me and I'll even get a bump in screen size. I am considering it simce I'd rather have less devices to carry around :)
