I dropped my phone from 1-2 feet onto carpet last night and my phone shut off. It eventually turned back on after a few minutes of being plugged in, but then just went to a gray screen. I restarted again and it eventually went to the white screen. I went to sleep, now it's completely black and won't do anything. When I plug it into my computer, iTunes says it's in recovery mode and my only option is to restore. I had a friend call it and it goes straight to voicemail. I'm afraid if I restore that I still won't get my screen back!
Currently I am using iPhone 7 Plus. Yesterday I have bought iPhone X. I did back up and restore work. Now I need to format 7 plus without formatting iCloud. So could u please let know.
I have an earlier model with a small screen, the disabled message is there and says connect to Itunes, itunes says it's locked with a pass code and won't recognise it so I am in a catch 22 situation. HELP!
Thank You ! Very concise and clear ! Do you know why the iphone 7+ sometimes zooms screen out of proportion and you find it necessary to do a restart ? My iphone 7+ phones are continuously doing so at inconvenient times . Consider a tutorial if you might know how to prevent this touchy issue !
Thank you so much! You have no idea how complicated my issue was. Entering Recovery Mode and connecting to iTunes REGARDLESS of error messages allowed me to restore my iPhone. This video was straight-forward and incredibly helpful.
