Had a chance to check out the new Segway miniPRO. This thing is like an advanced version of those hoverboard type vehicles you've seen around. The miniPRO is far more stable and capable of self-balancing. It's also got an app for controlling various functions including the ability to drive it when not onboard. Thanks to Segway for sending this over!

Fantastic review mate, I actually own a miniPro... this thing is freaking AWESOME..all my friends loved it!!
First impressions of the miniPRO below
Really well and properly packed, reminded me the Apple products, looks like Ninebot/Segway put a lot of money and thought on every detail.
Smartphone App: absolutely fantastic, provides information about EVERYTHING and you can adjust sensors, lights, speed, enable alarm, use as a real-time dashboard, remote control like a robot!
How far can you go on a single charge:
30km at least. I can go to work and come back home at top speed + spend a lot of time playing around, give to my friends to try... it just feels like you have an endless battery, you get tired after about 7km riding it.. I would say it would be pretty hard to run out of battery as you ride. The charger fits in my pocket, slightly bigger than a laptop charger.
16kmh may not sound very fast but you realise the speed if you have to jump off... it's actually pretty fast and it peaks 17-18kmh to correct your position and keep your body straight up.
Yeah... so much fun!!!! =]
fancy meeting you here ;), actually i bought one of those yesterday, and i myself am 107 kg, but i have to say, it feels stable IF you ride on pavements like he rode, here, but on our pavements, in israel which aren't exactly leveled you do feel it wobbly.
as someone who is legaly blind and cant drive, id love to use a segway to get around. they look incredibly fun but i dont think that the $10,000 plus price tag is worth it. even a USED segway can cost a few thousand dollars. even at two grand, it seems a bit pricy. and i firmly believe the main reason the segway didn't take off the way they thought it would is because of the absurd price of these things.
