Top 10 Zone, this is the biggest pile of trash I have ever seen. Nothing in this video that would be remotely useful for wilderness survival outside of the bag. Leave this to Bushcrafters who actually know what they are talking about, instead of misinforming people with information that could actually be detrimental to their well being.
Excellent Video clip! Excuse me for the intrusion, I am interested in your initial thoughts. Have you researched - Saankramer Land Protection System (search on google)? It is a smashing one off guide for Learning how to survive following a crisis without the normal expense. Ive heard some great things about it and my mate finally got cool success with it.
Just wonderful, I have been researching "survival in the wilderness" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Ryanzon Survival Genie - (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my partner got cool success with it.
The helmet started out for airsoft, but is currently available to order with NIJ IIIA ballistic protection, for around $1350. As to whether or not DEVTAC restricts their sales to military/LEO only, I really don't know.
The karambit is a pos, that schrade machete has terrible reviews and breaks often, the helmet is $2500 (i know cause i own one and it's great. And devtac is a great company.). Do some research on the stuff before you advertise it.
Nate Killinger - That's because he linked the knockoff version of the real thing. There actually is one from the video but it's thousands of dollars. Go to their website directly, Amazon doesn't sell it.
Other than the backpack everything else us just garbage, the people who posted the vid obviously doesn't know the difference between tactical and survival gear and has. I business making them until they become better informed
in order: a bulletproof head can. jaws of life that you will never need. a rucksack that might be useful if i didn't already have a better one. a flashlight/ portable source of blindness and/or seizures. a knife that the guy in the advert clearly doesn't know how to use. a spear, that looks bulky and difficult to carry and could easily be replaced by a pocket knife, a stick, and a bit of string. the bastard child of a scimitar and a wood saw, that's also made from the wrong kind of steel. a multi tool that is mostly useless if you don't own a shotgun, or have bottles to open. a fancy pocket. and last but definitely least, a bloody pen. it's a pen. just buy a pack of 20 of them for a dollar at your local office supply store.
Tactical Bananas rainbow karambit seems stupid to me… there is a chinese weapon usedin the past that youd hold like that but it was razor sharp and only an inch long and it was mesnt to cut ligaments in the thigh or neck for quick kills… most of this is junk tbh… im an archer, might as well just put 2 knives at the edge of my bow limbs and carry an extra quiver with a flashlight. It would be chesper then all of this bs, lmao. Maybe the mask is worth it, looks funky though…
Jack the ripper
The pack is pretty cool.
Tactical features while still looking plain enough to not draw attention.
The light is ridiculously big, but I can see the use for S&R.
The rest of the shit varies from vaguely situationally useful to absolute mall-ninja shit.
Most of this isn't even survival gear. What am I gonna do with a mag pocket? Start a fire? A karambit? It's just another knife. . What about the helmet? I'm not gonna be stuck in a forest, headbutting deer for food. Overall, there was a helmet, a tool for the military, a bag (which would be one of the most useful things in this video), a flashlight, a knife, a spear, a machete, a multi-tool, a mag pocket (AKA fire starter) and a pen that can break stuff.
Have you ever tried spear fishing? or catching an animal with a spear? Fishing is one of those things that all survival kits seem to be equipped for, yet unless you're stranded in the sea it's just about the worst source of food you can try and get, and i can guarantee I'll catch an animal with a piece of wire before you catch one with a spear. Buy a strait bladed, spear point knife and you can turn it into a spear if you really want.
