Single core is irrelevant with these two devices. The note has 8 cores vs the iphone's 2. The iPhone has fewer cores that are more powerful vs the note 8's more plentiful but also less powerful cores. For this reason the multiform score is the only relevant metric for geekbench
Hey guys did u know that when u r using Siri the electrons can get in ur body and ruin the bone and then it will ruin u so I prefer having Good home so u can speak right into it without touching it. So what did u decide iPhone Siri or Google home?
Come on bro I’ve been having iPhones for years now since making the switch from android, but you can clearly tell the Note 8 wasn’t even connected to the WiFi when doing your so called test 🤨 thinking of switching back 🤦🏻♂️
Why does it seems to me that reviews of this channel always goes in favour of iPhones and other iOS gadgets? What was that?! Note8 isn't a good contender to iPhone 7+? Man I had a 7+ and I totally ditched it to switch to Note8 as 7+ has so many things lacking that Note8 has sustained for me (e.g. dual SIM standby, expandable storage and most importantly headphone jack!!!) That is just stupid of Apple to remove the headphone jack on iPhone 7 and later models in favour of Bluetooth/wireless ones. I must admit that Note7 before was a fiasco but hey Samsung redeemed themselves as early as S8 & S8+ and now I don't regret a thing when I decided to ditched my iPhone 7+ for a Galaxy Note8! It was all worth it. I wish reviews from this channel would be less of a bias towards Galaxy or any other Android phones in favour of iPhones. #JustSaying #iMeanNoHarm.
I guarantee this guy had Wi-Fi assist turned on the IPhone X. If it was off hands down the Note 8 would have won. The specs speak for themselves, note 8 6GB ram, iPhone X 3GB ram. Right there means that if they had the exact same Wi-Fi connection the Note 8 would have won.
Anyone who knows anything about phones will know I'm right because when he was loading web based apps the iPhone X won most of them. But when loading non web based apps and apps that didn't depend on WiFi the Note 8 mauled the iPhone X Only reason the iPhone went faster is because he flipped on Wi-Fi assist. Fucking biased video, I did this same test with my friends iphone X and my note 8 on my internet connection with Wi-Fi assist turned off and the Note 8 SMOKED The iPhone X.
Not only that but he says that the processor in the iPhone X is better than the Note 8's processor. Note 8 = Octacore Processor (8 Processors). Iphone X = hexacore processor (6 processors). Not to mention the fact that the Note 8 came out MONTH'S before the iPhone X did as all generations of Samsung always come out months and months before iPhones do.
Also (and this is verifiable just like everything I'm saying is) model for model comparison, Samsung is always ATLEAST $100 cheaper per phone and has better specs on every single detail than the sane generations of IPhone. I could go on for days. Samsung is hands down the winner.
Go make an unbiased fair video when comparing phones, you make the fact that you're a pissy little iPhone fan boy way too obvious.
To add to my last statement as a computer engineer I can tell you the benchmarks don't mean much either.
You have to remember the iPhone's operating system as I've stated is a stripped down version of Unix I mean it's a much much lighter operating system that's why it needs much less memory. The Android system is a full functional, true computer operating system multitasking Beast with tons of features.. THAT MAKES A HUGE DIFFERENCE WHEN IT COMES TO BENCHMARKS.. it's not hard to get something to move fast when it offers you nothing!!
In other words if you can take the iPhone processor and switch it into the Note 8 in that Beast of an operating system.. it would get much lower benchmarks then the Snapdragon did..
The iPhone processor would struggle hard pushing the note operating system that would be Androids, Google's full-featured Linux operating system!!
Into the same respect you would get higher marks if you could take the processors and memory out of the Note 8 and put it in the iPhone 10. You get higher benchmarks than it did with the Apple processor..
The bottom line is Android Flagship phones are full-featured true computer operating systems with the the most options. They are much more Innovative when it comes to the operating system, Hardware, software, screens, etc..
They just give you way more for your money for Hardware software and everything..
Plain and simply the best entertainment value you can get out of a phone!!
Apple just copies and right now but they still have not caught up..
They finally got some of the features that the Galaxy S6 had 3 years ago!!
That's why I've always called the iPhone the dinosaur iPhone..
Or you can say a kid's phone. If you look at the majority of people who own iPhones over half is kids, teenagers, and women. Most people who own Flagship Android phones are high-tech people, and Men.
But overall anyways Android makes up somewhere around 77% of the market share in America in around 87% worldwide..
Recently had a friend in my certified computer and repair shop buy the iPhone 8 from the Galaxy S7 Edge. After 3 weeks he told me he can't stand the phone and he wants to throw it in the ocean he's bored to tears and he hates it.. the Android operating system is just so much more fun including what it offers hardware and software!!
I always laugh at these speed tests laugh my freaking ass off!! Means absolutely nothing in the real world nobody uses their phones like this and it all depends on what games are optimized for what what apps you do the test with!! The screen resolutions. Operating systems. The Android operating system is a much heavy operating system a true full featured fully functional multitasking Beast. The iPhone is a stripped-down FEATURELESS version of Unix (compared to a true operating system like Android Linux) They always strip down everything to give you the least amount so they can put less money into the processors, memory and everything else so Apple can put more money in their pocket!! Etc..
And yep the iPhone screen and memory is made by Samsung..
When they did a placebo test with phones like the Galaxy S7 Edge vs. iPhone 8, iPhone 7 etc etc..
When people actually live with the phones nobody noticed any noticeable difference. And actually preferred the experience of the S7 Edge, screen, features in complete entertainment value!!
A phone can only go so fast before it does not matter anymore the way that people process things and how fast their fingers and brain goes means more.
Once you reach that level there is no more difference
These ridiculous don't prove anything speed tests are just Apple Fanboys last Stitch effort to hold on to to something with the dinosaur iPhone!!
Here’s just my own opinion
When it comes to user friendly and smoothness for everyday use I’ll give it to iPhone X. It’s hard to top the iPhone smoothness. I used to be an android user but it’s just more relaxing using the iPhone because of its buttery smooth.
The note 8 in the other hand wins the display and design. I can appreciate the higher resolution on the note 8. Everything is just sharper and the screen is wider for those who loves to have a bigger screen for media purposes. Also the note 8 has a bigger battery. Im not even gonna bother talking about the s pen since you really won’t probably use it as much in day to day aspect.
Overall I’ll give it to iPhone X just because of the more relaxing feeling especially when you use your phone more often. It’s like driving a car with automatic vs a manual gear box.
