I have just moved from Galaxy S6 Edge to S7. I love the new phone. However, there is one detail that totally ruins my user experience. The vibration.
I find the vibration annoying to say the least. No matter what intensity I choose, the vibration is kind of resonating, it spreads unpleasantly throughout the phone. This concerns notifications, keybord haptic feedback, the navigation keys. It's not a matter of intensity or other settings. I feel it is basically hardware, the vibration rotor/engine works this way. It buzzes and resonates.
I checked on my S6 and vibration is flawless, when I type there is a short, solid feedback, no buzzing. Same for notifications.
I also checked this on S7 Edge and there is no such issue!
This is a very good video. I was going to get an s6 but I think I will go for the s7. The s7 is water proof, expandable storage, selfie flash, fast wireless charging. I have an s5 . I am not sold on the s8 yet. I thought about the not 7 until the batteries of death incidents started happening. I have a 2 year old. Safety first. If I were to choose a note, which note should I choose?
S7 is a waste of time . the camera isn't as good as the S6, its heavier than the S6 , battery life isn't as good as the S6 and you cant use S7 as a remote to control your DSLR or TV. I'm going back to S6.
gtt iiuuu Companies need to continuenly sacrifice some benefits so people can always upgrade in the future. If you have "everything" on a phone, then what's the point of releasing a successor?? Companies will lose future profit.
I NEED SOME OPINIONS....
I have a Samsung galaxy s6 which I've had for like 6 months.. and I want a new phone so I got offered either... Samsung Galaxy s6 edge white used with case and wireless charger for $350...... OR
A Brand new Samsung Galaxy s7 black with box For $410
WHICH SHOULD I DO???!?!?!
I actually looked up a s6 vs s7 just to see what my mom is getting into. I got the galaxy s7. and we well my dad got my mom the galaxy s6 for christmas and I wanted to see how everything is on the s6. I came from an s4 to a s7. so I didn't know how the s6 was. but I never went for the s6 due to wanting expandable storage with a sd card. but I now can see my mom is perfectly fine with the s6 since it's pretty much exactly the same. not a lot of points where it's noticeably a huge difference. besides expandable storage and the fact s7 is dust and water resistance. so that's cool now I know lol
Hey guys. I think I should get a new phone but I'm not sure whether to work for an S7, or get an S6. I use Boost Mobile. The S6 is getting cheaper but I'm not sure how long it will last me. There's a pretty cheap S7s on Craigslist but I'm not old enough to. The S7 is waterproof and it's faster and has a better camera but again, price. I currently have an S5.
I am planning to upgrade my galaxy s4 but I'm not sure which one to get, the s6 or the s7. The battery life and the micro SD port from the s7 are very attractive features, but the s6 is cheaper. Which one should I choose ?
I know this was an early comparison of these devices, but I wanted to comment that it's unlikely the waterproofing that added quite a few grams of weight to the S7 over the S6. The LIKELY weight gain was from the larger battery. Which is also why the S7 is a mm thicker, not to remove the camera bulge as suggested early in the video. That was indeed a benefit though it was unintended. Solid comparison, though a revisit since Android 6 Marshmallow rolled to the S6 would be nice.
Not every people upgrades yearly, but it's for those people that are owning a phone for more than a year and already needs a replacement.
For example, I am currently using a phone for 1 year so I don't have to buy the new ones since my current one is still working, but my father has been using his phone for, say, more than 2 years already, and he needs to upgrade already for whatever reasonable reason, and that's why every OEM releases their new phones every year.
+Sara x Well im from the Netherlands too, what a misrable country. Weathers good today though. But anyways, I just just bought the s7, but with a subscription to Tele2 *language shift* 36 per maand 4gb onbeperkt bel sms + gratis 64gb *language shift* perfect for me.
+DZA I live in the Netherlands so it's kinda the same bit my phone never gets wet or anything. I kinda wanna go for the s7 just because it is the new one and I want it to last long.. But I have to pay for it myself and I think it's way too expensive for just a phone I use for normal stuff. Why do they have to be so expensive :l
