The Acer Swift 7 claims to be the world's thinnest laptop but are the tradeoffs worth it?

What does the tininess matter when it still has a large footprint??? Very dumb people fall for thinness. Just use a quality and reliable machine... whatever it may look like.
Computers are not fashion accessories... they're tools.
with me a laptop MUST survive being dropped down 1 flight of stairs AND hit hard flooring at the bottom WITHOUT breaking (because i HAVE done that in the past)
one laptop i have has already passed this test (the one that i accidentally dropped, not once but twice, and you couldnt tell it had been dropped)
TOOOO MUCHHHHHH!!!! I don't think 1700 dollars so I can slide my computer under a door is worth it for what you get. All the features you've described should be on a computer regardless of size. And with the smaller ports means new cables. Naaa I'll pass. Peace
The bezels on a lot of Windows laptops are insane, does that not bother people? There's a huge bottom bezel, then the acer section too. It looks hideous to me. I'd rather have an even bezel then a massive chin and thin forehead
I have a decent laptop but the graphics card is really lame, is there anyway I can upgrade my graphics card cause I don't want to buy a new console/device. Keep in mind I have a laptop so I don't think I can just open it up and cram something in there so is there an external graphics card or something I can get?
FUCK NO! just no! if you're the kinda person to bitch about laptops being too heavy then you can go fuck yourself and get an ipad or something like that. I hate the fact that there's a competition for who has the tinniest device and for what for the prices to keep going up even more? Hell no, not paying more for less. Computers need to be thick enough to have enough ports and CD/DVD drive I'm still the kind of guy who prefers physical media over digital in a heart beat.
