It must be nice to know the Samsung but I have the 8+ May 2018 and you are a lousy teacher, first of all you talk way to fast and you jump around so fast that I cannot follow you . And you might think about updating your 8 /8+ because all you r showing is not doable or workable as you re showing
I think it's funny when people reply to a comment thinking they are just writing stand alone comment. Cracks me up. I like this guy. It's tech so I don't know why people are expecting this guy to act like it's supposed to be Le Mis. I find is knowledge helpful and his voice to be studio quality and plenty interesting enough for a how to.
Thanks for all the tips. One question: When I go to the Navigation Bar settings I do not see the color options that you do. I see some mostly grayed out VERY light colors, and I do not have a color wheel. Any ideas why the colors are not available for me? Android 7.0, Samsung Experience Version 8.1, Kernel 4.4.16-11982677
Thank you very much for the video, it's very informative and in depth. I know exactly how I'll set my phone up when it comes Tuesday now.
I noticed in one of the menu's there is an SOS Message feature.. Would you be able to make a short video on that? I ask this, as my phone is pretty much my lifeline. I suffer with mental health issues and seizures, for crisis I have my crisis number set up for example, but if that SOS Message feature has some sort of advanced functionality, it would be great to detect when I have a seizure and send a message to an emergency contact telling them that I'm having one and where I am using the phones location.
That could be an essential feature to use if it could do the above or more, I'm not sure how the phone would detect it anything like that or possibly drops/peaks in blood pressure, but it's a feature that could potentially save a life.
Thank you again for the review and setup, that's great :)
i have been an apple fan boy since the iphone 3gs. ive had a few samsungs, s5, s7, s7 edge and they all bit the dust meaning i went back to the iphone, after seeing the iphone x i decided i wanted the s8. i still feel like going back to my iphone 7 purely for imessage, but man oh man is the s8 a beautiful phone. it is drop dead sexy and if anyone wants to make the change i recommend it! you will not be disappointed! the amoled display is completely flawless, the design is amazing and its so easy to use compared to older models! love it!
Always update it, because with the updates come new features and also some functions of your phone may not work if you don't update it frequently. As a proof of what I just said, when your phone gets old, Samsung will stop sending you the updates, so you'll have to buy a new phone.
i have had so many phones including iPhone and right now i got my S8 PLUS love to take pics and videos in our pool, games and watching tv hands down! call and web browsing is fast... gotta baby this thing because the all glass is very delicate even with a otter box case.
With the latest update I had, there's only a fixed number of colours for the navigation bar background. Only a few light shades. However, you can make the nav bar background colour to your selected theme
Question. I had read that leaving ALWAYS ON (time on the home screen, black background) has had a history of BURN IN,, like old monitors did. has that been fixed? I like it but turned that off altogether. Thanks
Geller Price Book Videos When you have ALWAYS ON DISPLAY, the hour moves around just to fix that burnt in problem, it doesn't use the same pixels in a long time, it keeps changing place... So it's totally safe :)
